Is The PGA Tour In Trouble Because Of LIV Golf?

The LIV Golf Invitational Series has taken the golf world by storm. Each day, more and more players are leaving the PGA Tour and flocking to LIV.

It’s been normal in the past for golfers to eventually leave the PGA Tour and work on their own schedules. They appear in events they’re invited to and then take a reduced workload in the golf world.

LIV is flipping the script.

LIV is basically shelling out copious amounts of money in order to attract the game’s biggest stars. Some notable players that have jumped ship to LIV include Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and Martin Kaymer.

Last place on the PGA tour gets you nothing. If you miss the cut, you get zero. On this tour you get $100k. This is a matter of money, said Bill.

However, Bill doesn’t think the LIV is threatening the PGA Tour’s success.

Listen, the PGA tour is going nowhere. They have the Majors, they have the Masters. They have giant tournaments. The PGA makes a ton of money off golf.

Canadian Rapper Drake Cashes Monster Warriors Bet

Back in April, Drake placed a $200,000 CAD bet on the Golden State Warriors to win the Western Conference and advance to the NBA Finals. That bet paid a cool $1,000,000 CAD. The consensus around the ever-so-trustworthy internet is that Drake’s net worth is nearly $180 million, so $200,000 isn’t that much for him.

I think it’s a bad example for kids. They’re all screaming and yelling. His whole entourage in the back screaming and yelling. I guess it’s fun for them of course. I’m sure he throws around some of his money to the other boys. I’m an old school guy, said Bill. I like to set good examples for future generations and I don’t know if that’s setting the best example playing a virtual casino.
