MegaSpinz offers a sweepstake daily login bonus of GC and SC. The standard reward is 1,000 GC and 0.1 SC. If you log in for eight consecutive days, you’ll get an extra 0.2 SC and 500 Reward Points as well.

To claim, open the promotions tab and click ‘View Rewards’. This opens a pop-up with loyalty levels and other bonuses. Select ‘Daily Login Bonus’ and click on that day’s lootbox to reveal the reward. At the time of this MegaSpinz review, the pop-up window was Halloween themed, but this bonus is available year-round.

MegaSpinz Loyalty Program

The MegaSpinz loyalty rewards program has a lot going on, with missions, tournaments, and a leaderboard. I was pleased to see a loyalty program as many social casinos don’t offer one, even if the perks for each level aren’t super clear.

All new players automatically join the Bronze tier. Players earn reward points by completing missions, such as reaching login streaks or playing selected games, or through various promotions.

Free Refill

If you run out of Gold Coins and don’t want to wait until your next daily reward, you can claim a free refill of 100 GC. Click the ‘Free Refill’ button in the sidebar and enter the email address you registered with to claim your coins.

MegaSpinz doesn’t specify how low your balance needs to be to unlock this promotion, and as I didn’t run out of coins during my week of testing, I couldn’t confirm this myself.

Refer-a-Friend

MegaSpinz offers a higher-than-average referral bonus of five free Sweepstakes Coins per successful referral. Share your unique link with up to ten friends and receive five SC for each friend that signs up.

I like the simple referral process without complicated commission schemes, but it’s a shame there’s a ten-person limit on this MegaSpinz bonus.

Mail-in Bonus

As per sweepstakes regulations, MegaSpinz provides an Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE). The MegaSpinz sweepstakes rules set out specific conditions for postal entries, which award 3 SC per eligible request. It’s a decent AMOE bonus compared to other casinos. Pulsz, for example, awards 5 SC per request, whereas Scarlet Sands only gives 1 SC.

Mail-in sweepstakes bonuses usually involve multiple steps and writing out exact wording by hand, so read through the T&Cs thoroughly if you want to claim this MegaSpinz bonus.

MegaSpinz User Experience

MegaSpinz has a simple design with minimal graphics and visual features, relying on the dark purple background to make games pop. I tested the site on my desktop and mobile browsers for this review as there’s no dedicated MegaSpinz app.

While the overall functionality was fine, the site navigation needs some fine-tuning. The T&Cs and policy pages also need improvements. On all my devices, the font was very small and hard to read against the dark background.

MegaSpinz Desktop

I found the MegaSpinz games lobby easy to explore. There are plenty of categories including Card & Table Games and Fish Games, and filter options for popular themes like Wild Beasts or Vegas. However, if the library expands into four figures then MegaSpinz might need to add more filters, such as Megaways, Slots, or Blackjack.

One downside of the games navigation is that the sidebar doesn’t have buttons for game categories. This is a bit inconvenient, but I just had to click ‘Main Lobby’ and go from there.

Navigation is a bit trickier on the rest of the site. The sidebar features two separate buttons for the loyalty hub. Clicking ‘Promotions’ takes you to a page with three buttons: two open the loyalty hub and the third takes you to the shop. I found these menu options overcomplicated and I’d rather have the promotions clearly laid out instead of clicking through multiple steps.

The shop is easy to find and has a plain, user-friendly layout. There’s a big gold ‘Shop’ button at the top of the sidebar and another gold button in the header next to your account balance. Multiple other ‘Shop’ buttons in the menu and on different pages seem unnecessary additions. This is a minor issue, though, and doesn’t significantly diminish the user experience.

On the technical side, pages load fairly quickly and games run smoothly: I ran a speed test and the Largest Contentful Paint loaded in 1.9 seconds. However, the bright white holding screen that pops up between pages is jarring compared to the dark theme of the site.

While there are a few illustrated promo banners, there are no on-page animations or background graphics. This gives a toned-down user experience compared to more stylized sites like Crown Coins or Sportzino. On the flipside it’s simpler to load and visually uncluttered.

MegaSpinz Mobile

There’s no MegaSpinz mobile app, but cellphone gamers needn’t worry. The website is mobile optimized and the responsive formatting makes it suitable for portrait viewing.

The sidebar is replaced with a bottom menu with buttons for the lobby, search bar, balance, games and promotions. I prefer this condensed menu as it cuts out unnecessary duplicates. The desktop’s sidebar menu can be accessed from the hamburger icon in the top right corner, if you prefer.

Similar to the desktop version, games are easy to navigate and run well in portrait mode. The preview images aren’t super crisp but game graphics are clean and don’t lag.

Unfortunately, I had the same readability issue with the T&Cs due to the small font and poor contrast, needing to zoom in on my screen to read the policy.

MegaSpinz Games

MegaSpinz is starting small with under 300 games available in its first month operating. These are mostly slot games with a handful of RNG table games and variety games thrown in, although live dealer tables and progressive jackpots are missing. This library will suit casual players or new social gamers, but experienced players may be left wanting.

If you’re looking for the biggest provider names like NetEnt or Hacksaw you won’t find them here. MegaSpinz’ modest game selection comes from 20 reputable providers, including:

Neither one of these categories has their own section or filter, so I had to rely on the search bar and scrolling through the library to find them. My top picks for these MegaSpinz games are Immortal Ways Sweet Coin Hold and Win, Wild Buccaneers Megaways, and Red Dragon Ways.

Despite the small scale of the games selection I still managed to find plenty of entertainment across a variety of themes, making up for the lack of my favorite titles.

I enjoyed a feline twist on the popular Ancient Egypt theme in BGaming’s Book of Cats, which features all the detailed illustrations, reel animations and expanding Wilds you’d expect from the best developers. 

Another favorite was Onlyplay’s Iggy Racing. This Italian greyhound-racing slot has an innovative Random Wilds feature, where a pack of greyhounds race across the screen at any random moment, dropping wilds on the reels.

Table Games

Considering MegaSpinz is a brand new social casino and has only a few hundred games, it’s a good sign that casino-style games are already on the table.

The 11 video table games include roulette, baccarat, Triple Edge Poker, Texas Hold’em Bonus and six blackjack games.

Confusingly, the ‘Card & Table Games’ section only shows nine games, leaving out European Roulette and Texas Hold’em Bonus.

Live Dealer

Unsurprisingly for a social casino, there aren’t any MegaSpinz live dealer games. These are more commonly associated with real money casinos, where players can gamble deposited funds on livestreamed casino games.

If you want to experience live casino tables on a social casino without having to wager real money, sites like McLuck provides a small range of live dealer titles.

Instant Win & Novelty Games

Where MegaSpinz stands out against other slot-focused social casinos like Ace.com is the variety of instant-win and novelty games. Again, these categories don’t show all the available titles, as I spotted other scratch games and fish shooters not shown in the dedicated sections.

If you want a bigger top-up, however, MegaSpinz allows players to purchase optional Gold Coin packs. You’ll get a bonus amount of Sweepstakes Coins for free with your purchase, too.

MegaSpinz accepts six payment methods, although bank transfers are only available for prize withdrawals. MegaSpinz accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay for purchases, but not for redeeming prizes in most locations. The FAQ states that redemption options vary between locations and the T&Cs reference card details in the redemptions section, so check the options available in your location.

This is a fairly small range of payment methods compared to alternative top sweepstakes casinos. It’s missing popular e-wallets like PayPal or Skrill, doesn’t allow bank transfer deposits, and there aren’t any cryptocurrency options. There’s a choice of major card providers, however, and the mobile wallet options make purchases convenient for cellphone users.

The no-deposit welcome bonus and daily login reward gave me plenty of coins to get started, but I decided to boost my balance with one of the first-purchase offers. I completed KYC checks when I signed up, but if you haven’t done so by this point, you’ll need to verify your details before you can make a purchase.

I selected the $9.99 pack, which gave me 10,000 GC and 20 free SC. I opted to pay with my Mastercard credit card. I filled out my card details and confirmed the transaction, and received my coins straight away.

Later on, I tested the payments while using my iPhone 14 Pro Max and found the process just as simple. I opted for 10,000 GC and five free SC for $4.99. Filling out card details can be tricky on a cellphone screen, so I used Apple Pay, which was quick and convenient.

MegaSpinz allows players to redeem eligible sweepstakes coins for prizes, after a 1x playthrough. Over my week of playing on MegaSpinz, I was lucky enough to earn a balance of 100 SC, which is the minimum amount needed to request MegaSpinz prizes.

I headed to my profile and clicked ‘Redeem’, then confirmed the amount of 100 SC and filled out my bank details. Bank transfer is currently the only option for prizes on MegaSpinz. Alternative sweepstakes casinos sometimes offer gift cards, or have lower thresholds for redemption. McLuck offers gift card prizes from just 10 SC.

MegaSpinz advises that cash prizes can take up to ten days to process, but my $100 prize arrived in my bank in five days. This is still slower than some alternatives: Crown Coins awards cash prizes in 24 hours via Trustly.

Customer support is limited at MegaSpinz. Clicking ‘Contact Us’ in the website footer opens a contact form, but the page states there are ongoing issues and to send an email to hello@megaspinz.com instead.

Unfortunately, it seems the email support has issues as well. I reached out twice to ask about prize redemption and loyalty levels, and after two days I was still waiting for a response.

There’s no live chat, phone support, or social media support. The contact page has buttons for Facebook and TikTok but these don’t link to MegaSpinz social media accounts. This means players have only one contact channel with no guarantee of immediate assistance for urgent issues.

There’s an FAQ with surface-level information, and a novelty ‘Infrequently Asked Questions’ section which gave me a laugh but falls short of actual support.

Where is MegaSpinz Legal?

There are 40 MegaSpinz legal states. Due to state-specific legislation, MegaSpinz is not available in California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, or Washington.

How to Redeem Prizes at MegaSpinz

MegaSpinz prize redemption is a user-friendly process but there are a few conditions players should be aware of.

You need to play through your sweeps coins at least once before they’re eligible. There’s a minimum amount of 100 SC to redeem at a rate of one SC to $1 USD, which works out as a $100 cash prize.

There’s no time limit on building up your SC balance, although coins will expire if your MegaSpinz account has no SC gameplay for 180 consecutive days. This is more generous than some social casinos as WOW Vegas SC expire 60 days after receipt.

You can make one prize request every 48 hours. There’s a maximum daily limit of $10,000, or $5,000 in Florida. MegaSpinz only redeems prizes via bank transfer, which is typically slower than e-gift cards or other payment methods. Prizes can take up to 10 days to arrive, and you may need to allow extra time for verification if you haven’t completed the KYC process before requesting a MegaSpinz cash prize.

What’s the Difference Between MegaSpinz and a Real Money Casino?

MegaSpinz is a sweepstakes casino where players can enjoy online casino-style games for free. Games use virtual currencies, which can be obtained for free, instead of depositing and wagering real money.

I’m not blown away by MegaSpinz, but it doesn’t need to be mind-blowing to be a decent sweepstakes casino. The games library is small at 298 games (at the time of this review) but the quality and variety are already in place. Many new sweepstakes casinos start small and build from a solid foundation.

The promotions balance regular top-ups of free coins, purchase bonuses, and gamification in the loyalty program. The ‘Free Refill’ feature sets MegaSpinz apart from other social casinos and leans into the play-for-free element that sweepstakes gaming is all about.

Where MegaSpinz lets itself down is the lackluster customer support. While the casino has acknowledged the current issues with the contact form, I expect more than one contact channel and at least one immediate-response option like a live chat or phoneline.
