Seattle first baseman Rowdy Tellez isn’t off to a great start to 2025, but his .687 OPS has been fueled by his struggles when at home. The slugger hasn’t adjusted well to T-Mobile Park in his first season with the team, but he has been a different player on the road.
Tellez’s OPS jumps up to .915 when away from Seattle. He’s looking like the player he was when he broke out with the Milwaukee Brewers a few seasons ago. With an aging veteran starting tonight's game, we are jumping on Tellez at this fantastic price.
The Angels will have Kyle Hendricks (2-6, 5.34 ERA, 1.29 WHIP) starting on the mound tonight. The 35-year-old has been bad, and that won’t change when he faces Tellez tonight. These two have met in 24 at-bats, with Tellez posting a .375 average and one home run.
If Tellez can’t tag Hendricks for a home run, he’ll still have a great chance to do so against an Angels’ bullpen that owns the third-highest ERA in the league.

Don’t look now, but Angels outfielder Taylor Ward has the sixth-most home runs (17) in baseball. While he is struggling to hit for average, his power has helped make up for it. While he will probably strike out a couple times tonight, we love his chances to take at least one pitch deep against Seattle tonight.
Ward will be facing a familiar face on the mound in Bryce Miller (2-4, 5.36 ERA, 1.53 WHIP). The 26-year-old has been one of the best young pitchers in the league, but he hasn’t looked the same in May. He is 0-1 with a 9.69 ERA over three starts, and spent a couple of weeks on the IL. He returned last weekend and allowed three runs on five hits over four innings.
Ward is 4-for-10 with one home run against Miller over his career.

The young Brewers star has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the last week. He owns a .429 with two home runs over that span and is showing no signs of cooling off. We saw the damage Chourio can do when he’s hot last season, giving us plenty of reason to believe his hot bat will do some serious damage tonight.
Chourio will be facing Padres’ starter Randy Vasquez (3-4, 3.99 ERA, 1.47 WHIP) tonight. The 26-year-old has been erratic in 2025 and is coming off one of his worst outings. The righty managed to last just 3 ⅓ innings against the lowly Pirates last weekend, allowing four runs and two home runs.
Even if Vasquez can rebound tonight, we still see Chourio getting the best of him.
