Home Run Picks for Friday, June 27

Vladimir Guerrero Anytime Home Run (+400) at Caesars Sportsbook

After a slow start to the 2025 season, Guerrero has been flashing some serious power in the second-half of June. He has homered in three of his last ten games, despite his average dipping over the last week. While most of his home runs have come at home this season, but we see adding one on the road as he faces one of his favorite pitchers.

Red Sox start Brayan Bello (3-2, 3.31 ERA, 1.41 WHIP) has been improving on his numbers in June. After not allowing any home runs over his first three starts this month, he surrendered two in his last start.

The 26-year-old might end up delivering a quality start, but history tells us Guerrero will do some damage tonight. Over 24 at-bats, the All-Star has a .417 average with two home runs. That, along with his power coming back, will give the first baseman all the confidence he needs add another long ball to his season total tonight.

Heliot Ramos Anytime Home Run (+260) at Caesars Sportsbook

The Giants’ young slugger saw his power numbers dip in June, but he has now gone deep twice over the last week. With Ramos on pace to easily surpass his 22 home runs from last season, we still don’t really know where the 25-year-old’s ceiling really is, making him an intriguing home run prop bet pick.

The reason we are taking Ramos today is White Sox starter Aaron Civale (1-4, 5.03 ERA, 1.47 WHIP). After demanding a trade from the Brewers, the NL Central contender decided to trade him to Chicago on his birthday. It was an embarrassing moment for the 30-year-old, and the impact on his confidence has been massive.

In two starts with the Sox, Civale seven runs on 15 hits and five walks. He gave up a pair of home runs in his last start, where he looked even worse than in his first.

We love to bet against mentally shaken pitchers, which is why we are happy to lock Ramos in tonight.

Ketel Marte Anytime Home Run (+333) at Caesars Sportsbook

Marte has forced himself into the 2025 NL MVP conversation by posting massive numbers in June. He has seven home runs, 19 RBIs, and a .365 batting average so far. Three of those long balls have come during the team’s recent road trip, and we expect that momentum as he heads home today.

Marte will face Marlins’ starter Eury Perez (0-2, 6.17 ERA, 1.63 WHIP) on the mound tonight. The 22-year-old hasn’t given up a home run over his 11 ⅔ innings this season, but he has looked awful each time out. Once he exits, he’ll turn things over to a bullpen that ranks in the bottom ten of the league in ERA and home runs allowed.

There is also an emotional factor to consider for Marte. The slugger has heckled by a White Sox fan regarding his mother, who recently passed away. He showed a visible reaction, leading to the fan being ejected and him going 0-4 the next day.

Yesterday, news broke that the fan had received a lifetime ban from the MLB. That, combined his Marte’s return to his loyal fanbase today, makes us believe he is going to have a special day.
