Bobby Witt Jr. isn’t the MVP candidate he was in 2024, but he has been playing like it in July. The shortstop has been red hot and seems to have finally rediscovered his power stroke from last season. We love his chance to add another home run to his growing total tonight. We’ll share why below, along with two other home run props we love.

The 25-year-old shortstop has been unable to replicate his 2024 breakout campaign, but that is changing. Since June 27, Witt is batting .417 with two home runs. The pair of longballs came earlier this week, showing that his power stroke from last season may finally be returning.
The Mets will have Frankie Montas (1-1, 6.14 ERA, 1.30 WHIP) starting today’s game. The 32-year-old made his Mets debut a couple of weeks ago and looked sharp, but was awful over his next two starts. He allowed ten runs and four home runs over 9 ⅔ innings, which includes a start against the lowly Pirates.
We love the red-hot star’s chances to go deep against the struggling righty today.

The Phillies slugger is on pace to have one of his best seasons, posting 29 home runs through 93 games. He has four in July alone, going deep in all three of the Phillies series. The 32-year-old remains one of the more popular picks for home run prop bets, and he’ll be heading into a favorable matchup tonight.
Schwarber will be facing Yu Darvish (0-1, 4.91 ERA, 1.64 WHIP) on the mound to start tonight’s game. The veteran is making his second start of the season after a long stint on the IL. He wasn’t sharp in his return last week, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks over 3 ⅔ innings.
While Darvish will only improve as the season goes, Schwarber has had his number over the years. The Phillies' star has a .357 average with two home runs over 14 innings against the pitcher, giving us plenty of reason to pick him to go deep tonight.

The Angels’ young star has become the team’s most dangerous weapon, and we love his chances to go deep tonight. He has been reliable when healthy, but he has looked especially in the team’s series against the Rangers earlier this week. He went 7-18 with a home run, with multi-hit efforts in the final two games.
Neto will be facing D-backs ace Zac Gallen (7-9, 5.15 ERA, 1.35 WHIP) for the first time tonight. The starter has looked sharper in his last two starts, but has allowed a whopping ten home runs over his previous seven (43 ⅓ innings).
With Neto heating up at the plate, we expect him to take advantage of Gallen’s struggles tonight.
