The Colorado Rockies have been the worst team in baseball. They have made the 2024 White Sox look like a legitimate club and have been this year’s center of scrutiny. 

The Rockies play in the best division in baseball, but they lose to nearly every team on the schedule. Their starting pitcher, Kyle Freeland, is 0-5 with a 6.41 ERA and a 1.65 WHIP. 

The Rangers' offense hasn’t been overly reliable, but they should have a field day against Freeland. Colorado’s bullpen has also been horrendous, so this is a tough spot for the team. 

Jack Leiter will pitch for Texas, and he is very hittable, but Colorado doesn’t have many offensive weapons. Ryan McMahon is one of their best hitters, with a .211 average. 

Leiter has the matchup to post a solid stat line, and if he does this, Texas should win game two of this series.

Yankees vs. Mariners (9:40 PM, EST)

The Seattle Mariners are underdogs on Tuesday and have a lot of value at their current price. They will face the best pitcher in the American League, Max Fried, who will make their life difficult. 

Fried has been excellent this season with a 6-0 record, 1.05 ERA, and a 0.91 WHIP. However, the Yankees' odds are very juiced considering they’re facing an ace-caliber pitcher in Bryan Woo. 

Woo hasn’t been as dominant as Fried but has similar numbers. His WHIP is nearly identical at 0.92, and New York’s lineup isn’t elite outside Aaron Judge. 

Seattle may not score many runs, but Woo can limit New York’s scoring. If he does this, the Mariners have a great chance to win.

Athletics vs. Dodgers (10:10 PM, EST)

The right-handed pitcher is 2-0 with a 4.61 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP. Knack has to limit the damage, and I expect the offense to help him drastically with run support.
