Minnesota Twins vs. Milwaukee Brewers - Pablo Lopez vs. Tobias Myers (7:15 PM, EST)

Twins’ starter Pablo Lopez (3-2, 2.77 ERA, 0.97 WHIP) is coming off a rough outing against the Giants, but it was the first time he allowed more than two runs this season. While the Brewers have hit the veteran well in the past, they have been bad in 2025. With a .209+ average over the last week, we are confident that Lopez will be able to get through a clean first inning.

The Brewers will have 26-year-old Tobia Myers (1-0, 3.86 ERA, 1.53 WHIP) on the mound today. The righty was incredible in his 2024 rookie campaign, but an injury kept him out for the start of this year. The team has been watching his pitch count, but he still owns a 2.61 ERA in May. The Twins have the better lineup, but they haven’t seen Myers before, who has an OBA of .182 the first time through the lineup this season.

Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers - Ronel Blanco vs. Tyler Mahle (7:05 PM, EST)

Under 0.5 Run (-120) at Caesars Sportsbook

There was some concern about Ronel Blanco’s (3-3, 4.04 ERA, 1.16 WHIP) breakout season at 30 years old being a fluke. However, those concerns have been muted with the righty delivering three quality starts over his last four games. With the Texas lineup struggling badly over the last week, we expect Blanco’s strong play to carry over today.

Texas starter Tyler Mahle (4-1, 1.47 ERA, 0.96 WHIP) has been the best pitcher in baseball early in 2025. He has not allowed more than two earned runs across nine starts this season, and has allowed four combined in three May games. The veteran has been especially great early in games, allowing just two runs to score the first time through the lineup this season.

Best YRFI Bets Today

• Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks - German Marquez vs. Zac Gallen

We love this YRFI bet primarily because Colorado starter German Marquez (1-6, 8.27 ERA, 1.70 WHIP) will be on the mound. While he’ll be getting away from the hitter-friendly Coors Field, that hasn’t helped much this season. He is 0-4 with a 10.53 ERA over five road starts. Add in his .299 OBA the first time through the lineup, and you can see why we are eager to lock this one in.

• Los Angeles Angels vs. Los Angeles Dodgers - Clayton Kershaw vs. Tyler Anderson

Tyler Anderson (2-1, 2.58 ERA, 1.06 WHIP) has been fantastic, but he’s been vulnerable the first time through the lineup, allowing a .296 average and 11 runs the first time through the lineup. Considering he’ll be facing the best lineup in baseball tonight, this is an easy bet to make.
