The NBA replaced its Skills Challenge with the iconic Shooting Stars Challenge, and oddsmakers have a noticeable New York flavor in their list of favorites to win the event.
Team Knicks, headlined by Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, is a near two-to-one favorite. Team Cameron, Team All-Stars, and Team Harper have odds ranging from +240 to +310 as the competition returns for the first time in more than 10 years.
Here are the complete odds to win the NBA Shooting Stars challenge, the teams that are competing, how to watch the event, and more.

The key to this event is balance across all of the contestants, since they can only shoot one at a time. That includes the retired players, but while Allan Houston (Team Knicks) previously won the event, Richard Hamilton (Team All-Star), Corey Maggette (Team Cameron) and Ron Harper (Team Harper) are all capable shooters.
Team All-Star and Team Harper don’t have shooters on the level of Team Knicks. Kon Kneuppel (Team Cameron) might be the best shooter in the venue, but Jalen Johnson doesn't have the purest jump shot, and Maggette isn't on Houston's level. The oddsmakers have the correct team favored - I love Team Knicks to take home the trophy.

The NBA Shooting Stars competition will begin at 5:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 14, live at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The event will air on NBC and stream on Peacock.
The Shooting Stars will see four teams compete against one another for the title. Those four teams include the following:
Team Knicks: Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Allan Houston
Team All-Star: Scottie Barnes, Chet Holmgren, Richard Hamilton
Team Cameron: Jalen Johnson, Kon Kneuppel, Corey Maggette
Team Harper: Dylan Harper, Ron Harper, Ron Harper Jr.
The competition consists of two rounds.
The first round will see all four teams given 70 seconds to score points by shooting from seven locations scattered around the court. Four locations are worth two points, two are worth three points, and one is worth four. Players must shoot one at a time in a predetermined order.
Teams with the two highest scores will advance to the championship round. In the event of a tie, teams will compete in a 30-second tiebreaker with the same format.
If the final round ends in a tie, the entire round will be replayed as many times as necessary under the 70-second structure until a champion is crowned.
