Philadelphia is the defending Super Bowl champion
The 49ers have relied on Christian McCaffrey heavily in 2025
The Eagles are 4.5-point favorites
One of the most intriguing matchups of Wild Card Weekend features the 49ers traveling to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. San Francisco isn’t getting much respect heading into this game, but I believe they have a real chance to pull off the upset.
There are playmakers all over the field for both teams, making this an excellent matchup for player props. I’ve selected three offensive props that offer strong value for this contest on Fanatics.

Jalen Hurts knows how to win games, but his passing numbers haven’t always reflected that success. Philadelphia relies heavily on its running game, which is why I’m fading Hurts’ passing yardage this weekend.
Hurts has failed to clear this number in three straight games, including a 110-yard performance in Philadelphia’s most recent matchup against Buffalo. I expect a similar outcome here, as Kyle Shanahan will have San Francisco’s defense prepared.
While the 49ers have struggled at times against the pass this season, allowing 232.4 passing yards per game. I don’t expect them to let Hurts beat them through the air.
Injuries have played a role defensively, but this is a spot where San Francisco should be locked in for the matchup. Hurts has gone over this line just seven times all season, making this an ideal spot to fade him in a run-heavy game plan.

Christian McCaffrey is one of the best players in the NFL, and I expect the 49ers to lean on him heavily in this matchup. This rushing yard total feels low, as McCaffrey could cash it early.
Although much of his production has come through the air this season, he remains one of the league’s most effective runners. He’s gone over this number in three of his last five games, including a 140-yard performance against Chicago a few weeks ago.
McCaffrey leads the NFL with 311 carries and has rushed for 1,202 yards, the tenth-most in the league. Volume alone gives him a strong chance to clear this number.
If the 49ers are going to win this game outright, it will likely be on the back of McCaffrey’s rushing attack. I expect him to heat up at the right time and go over this prop.

George Kittle has been a consistent red zone threat when healthy, and Brock Purdy has shown a clear tendency to look his way near the goal line. I expect Kittle to be a major factor in this area on Sunday.
Despite dealing with injuries throughout the season, Kittle has totaled 628 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He tends to play his best football late in the year, which sets up well for this matchup.
Kittle has found the end zone twice over the last three games, and his chemistry with Purdy is clearly trending upward. With the Eagles likely focused on stopping McCaffrey, Kittle could see favorable matchups in the red zone.
