The 2025 NFL season will begin with the Super Bowl odds leader and reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4. Although the game is still months away, sportsbooks have already released lookahead Week 1 odds, including those for Cowboys vs. Eagles.

The Eagles brought back nearly all of their important players and will have the benefit of playing at home with strong support from the crowd, who will witness the hanging of the Super Bowl banner. The Cowboys acquired George Pickens but lost Zack Martin to retirement and had the most underwhelming hire of the coaching cycle with Brian Schottenheimer. Divisional matchups are usually close, but it’s not unreasonable to expect Philly to win by a touchdown.
