Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson are expected to make their Cowboys debuts
Geno Smith has more interceptions (12) than he does touchdowns (11)
Dak Prescott’s MVP campaign came to a screeching halt before the bye week
The new-look Dallas Cowboys are back at center stage as they visit the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football to close NFL Week 11.
The Cowboys’ activity at the trade deadline indicated that they still believe they can compete in the NFC playoff picture. Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson will look to solidify one of the NFL’s worst defenses to complement the explosive Dak Prescott-led offense.
On the other side, Geno Smith is second in the NFL in interceptions, and running back Ashton Jeanty has lost lots of ground in NFL Rookie of the Year odds. The pair will look to revitalize their team’s season, although their playoff dreams are effectively over.

It really has not been a strong season for Jeanty, although many of his struggles can be attributed to the shortcomings of his quarterback and offensive line. The sixth pick in the draft went under in three straight games and in five of nine games while averaging a poor 3.8 yards per carry.
The Cowboys allowed 4.8 yards per carry, which is toward the bottom of the league, but the arrival of Williams should greatly impact their defensive front (in a positive way). The team is also coming off of a bye week and should be as rested and prepared for this opponent as they can be.

While George Pickens’ impressive play has garnered most of the attention for the Cowboys’ receiving room, Lamb has been outstanding. He went over this line in every game but one, excluding the game he left with an injury, and squeaked over with 85 receiving yards last week.
Lamb caught 110+ yards worth of passes three times in five fully-healthy games and is going against a defense that is league-average on the back end. Dak Prescott isn’t playing MVP-level football like he was to start the year, but the bye week should allow him to get back into his groove thanks to the extra preparation time.

As if Bowers’ importance to the Vegas offense was ever in question, he returned from over a month on the sidelines with an injury to catch three touchdowns in an overtime loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He only caught one pass for 31 yards the following week, although Geno Smith barely threw the ball to his pass-catchers, and the team only scored seven points.
The Cowboys’ secondary is in the running for the worst in the league, and Bowers nearly leads his team in receptions, targets, and receiving yards despite missing a month with an injury. There aren’t many scoring threats on this offense, and Vegas will have to look to its bona fide stud to try to keep pace with a high-powered offense.

The Cowboys’ bombs-away offense hasn’t necessarily translated to Prescott consistently going over this line. He went under in back-to-back games and cashed the under five times in nine games, plus, two of his overs came against miserable defenses that were much worse than the Raiders’.
Vegas might allow a high completion percentage, but they typically don’t give up explosive plays over the top. Prescott might dominate the intermediate range, but he could have a tough time creating a play longer than 35 yards.
