The Dolphins are 5-1 in their last six games.
The Steelers lead the AFC North following a win last week over the Ravens.
The Steelers are allowing nearly 190 rushing yards per game over their last three.
To close out Week 15 of the 2025-26 NFL season, the 6-7 Miami Dolphins are hosting the 7-6 Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Dolphins are 5-1 over their last six, while the Steelers are coming off a massive win over the Baltimore Ravens to place them first in the AFC North.
Neither team is inside the top 11 in Super Bowl odds despite the Steelers leading the AFC North. Additionally, both teams rank 17th or worse in our NFL defense rankings, with the Steelers at No. 17 and the Dolphins at No. 20.

Heading into Week 15, the Dolphins are 6-7 after going 5-1 over their last six games. Four of those wins came against low-level teams like the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Washington Commanders, and New York Jets.
However, they did get a massive home win over the Buffalo Bills.
Now, after beating the Jets on the road, they’re taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers' defense has been quite vulnerable this season. They’re allowing 261.23 passing yards to opposing quarterbacks (29th) and 1.62 passing touchdowns (seventh-most) per game.
Additionally, the Steelers have given up 188.3 rushing yards per game over their last three games, which ranks 31st in that span.
If De’Von Achane gets back on the field after suffering a rib injury, he’ll be a massive problem for the Steelers’ defense.
The Dolphins' defense has also played well recently, too, picking off six passes over their last four games.
This is going to be a good game in Miami, and the Dolphins will cover.

As mentioned, the Steelers are allowing 261.23 passing yards per game this season. Not only that, but 12 of 13 quarterbacks have had 196 passing yards or more against them.
The only quarterback to fall short was Bills signal-caller Josh Allen, with 123 yards, because he didn’t need to throw as the Bills were winning in a blowout.
As for Tagovailoa, he’ll face a Steelers defense that plays Cover-1 and Cover-3 more than anything else.
Against those, Tagovailoa has completed 61% of his passes for 1,171 yards (7.1 yards per attempt).
He’s had 196 passing yards or more in five games this season.
He does have 10 interceptions against Cover-1 and Cover-3, but that could actually help him reach this passing yardage number, as turnovers could lead to points, which would require him to throw more.

Washington has had 20 yards or more in seven of 13 games this season.
This season, with Tyreek Hill injured, Washington has a 17% target share. He’s caught 34 passes on 46 targets for 242 yards and two touchdowns.
Against Cover-1 and Cover-3, Tagovailoa has a 65.4% completion percentage when throwing to Washington, and he’s third on the team in receptions with 17 for 147 yards and one touchdown.
He’ll get over 20 yards.
