Broncos -9 (-108) at Caesars Sportsbook

The Denver Broncos are bringing a six-game win streak into this Thursday Night Football matchup. We believe the streak will continue at home tonight against their rival for several reasons.

First, the Raiders continue to be one of the league’s worst teams. They came close to beating a bad Jags team last week, which would have been just their third win of the season. They lost by 31+ points in their two previous losses, which came against the Chiefs and Colts. The Raiders managed a combined six points in those games, which is bad news heading into a game against a Broncos defense that is allowing just 18.4 points per game this season.

Second, the Raiders traded away their top wide receiver, Jakobi Meyers, on Tuesday. That will be a big deal tonight against a Denver defense that will be without top cornerback Pat Surtain II. The two-time All-Pro was out last week, but the Broncos' secondary was still able to shut down Nico Collins, CJ Stroud, and the Texans' pass attack.

Last, we do not trust Geno Smith against what we believe to be the best ranked defense in the NFL. The 35-year-old is completing 67.2% of his passes for 1,701 yards and 11 TDs, but he also has 11 interceptions. While age and injury can explain his regression, the Raiders’ offensive line isn’t doing him any favors. Smith has been sacked 21 times (6th worst in the NFL), and will see that total spike on Thursday against a Broncos defense that leads the league with 40 sacks.

The Broncos beat the Raiders twice by 10+ points last season.

Tre Tucker Anytime TD (+305) at Caesars Sportsbook

With Jakobi Meyers gone, Tre Tucker is now the team’s top wide receiver. While he has been behind Meyers on the depth chart, he leads the team with 427 yards and four touchdowns. With Brock Bowers still demanding a lot of attention and Surtain out, we believe Tucker is set up for a big night.

We know that Smith and Tucker have a strong connection, but we believe it was put on the back burner as the coaching staff wanted Meyers more involved. With him now gone, look for Tuker to see plenty of looks from Smith.

With Geno Smith about to face a ton of pressure on Thursday Night Football, expect him to be locked in on Bowers and Tucker all game.

RJ Harvey Anytime TD (+210) at Caesars Sportsbook

Rookie RJ Harvey has lost out on the starting job to JK Dobbins, but he has still been very involved in this offense. He leads the team with six total touchdowns, while averaging 4.5 YPC on the ground and 166 yards through the air.

Harvey’s involvement in both aspects of the offense makes him a great anytime touchdown bet most weeks, but especially against this Raiders team. Las Vegas ranks around the middle of the league in rushing yards allowed per game (109.4), but has allowed the second most touchdowns (12).

While Dobbins has been electric, we expect the Broncos to run the ball a lot as they run up the score against the Raiders. He will make some plays in the pass game early before picking up more carries later on.
