Kyle Pitts had at least eight targets in four straight games
Matthew Stafford threw for 825 yards in his last two games
The Rams rank sixth in points allowed per game
The Los Angeles Rams are looking to rebound from a tough divisional loss as they travel to face the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night.
The Rams are Super Bowl favorites, yet they’re only third in their division. Matthew Stafford is also barreling toward the first MVP trophy of his career, although the New England Patriots’ Drake Maye is lurking close behind.
The Falcons’ season is already over, which means that it’s evaluation time for the players and coaches on the roster. They won back-to-back games thanks to Kirk Cousins’ resurgence, yet they’re eight-point underdogs at home.
Here, I will break down my top Rams vs. Falcons player props for the Monday Night Football matchup in Week 17.

There’s no denying the season that Stafford has had. He racked up 457, 368, and 281 passing yards in his last three games and ranks first in passing touchdowns (40), third in yards (4,179), and only has five interceptions.
With all of that said, the MVP frontrunner went under this line in three straight games immediately before his three-game stretch of overs. I don’t expect the Falcons to put up a great fight on offense, but their defense is 13th in yards allowed per pass attempt (6.4) and can generate pressure to help shut down the Rams’ drives early on.

On the other side, I also believe that Cousins will cash the under on his passing yards. He failed to get to 200 in two of his last three games and went under in four of six starts this year while only completing 62.2 percent of his passes, the lowest of his career since his third year in Washington in 2014.
The Rams are 10th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per attempt (6.2) and were dominant on defense up until their last couple of games. However, I expect them to round back into shape against a lesser opponent, especially after a long week of rest, since they played on Thursday last week.

While Stafford and Puka Nacua dominate the headlines, Williams has been a consistent force near the goal line for the last few years. He scored in 10 of 15 games, including in six of his last eight contests.
The Falcons rank 21st in points allowed per game (24.0) and gave up 37 points to the last team with a great offense (the Seattle Seahawks) that they faced. There’s no need for the Rams to be desperate and go bombs away, and Williams should get his touches.

Cousins has fallen in love with Pitts as a receiver, targeting him at least eight times in four straight games, one of which he ended with 11 catches for 166 yards and three touchdowns. The former Florida man also beat this line in all four of those games.
While Pitts’ season numbers aren’t great, there’s a strong correlation between Cousins entering the lineup, and Pitts’ production going through the roof. The Rams don’t need to bracket him to find success on defense, and I think he can continue his strong play as of late.
