Aaron Rodgers had his most passing yards of the season last weekend
Tua Tagovailoa was held to 173 or fewer passing yards in four straight games
The Steelers are only 2-4 against the spread after a win
The Miami Dolphins will hope to continue their miraculous mid-season turnaround on Monday Night Football when they visit the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers, and I’ve picked my favorite player props from the matchup.
The Dolphins enter the game riding a four-game winning streak despite starting the year 2-7. Tua Tagovailoa didn’t throw for more than 173 yards during that stretch, but that didn’t stop them from winning games.
The Steelers took down the Ravens as large underdogs last weekend, 27-22, yet they’re still underdogs to win their division. Aaron Rodgers just had his highest passing total of the season, and he’ll look to stay hot against a porous Dolphins secondary.
Here are my favorite Steelers vs. Dolphins player prop picks and bets for MNF in NFL Week 15.

As mentioned above, Rodgers set a personal best for passing yards in a Steelers uniform last weekend, when he went 23/34 for 284 yards and a TD against the Ravens. He’d gone under this line in four straight games before that, but the 42-year-old is a prime candidate to go over this line in primetime.
The Steelers struggle to run the football, and DK Metcalf just had his best game in a while, taking seven catches for 148 yards last weekend. The Dolphins typically struggle to play in cold weather, and the Rodgers-led offense has to continue to be aggressive since they control their playoff destiny.

Tagovailoa has been pretty horrible recently and this season as a whole, throwing 18 touchdowns to 14 interceptions. His recent passing totals also came in at 127, 157, 171, and 173, which begs the question, “Why take his over?”
The Steelers’ moribund secondary is 27th in passing yards allowed per game (244) and has let most quarterbacks get past this number. The Dolphins could also be forced to throw the football more if they are chasing the game and because De’Von Achance is dealing with a rib injury suffered last weekend.

Speaking of Achane, the explosive running back’s raw totals are far from a certainty due to his injury. I’m much more comfortable taking his longest reception line, which he beat in four of his last five games.
Achane is second on the Dolphins in receiving yards and is a frequent recipient of check-downs, if not just standard route concepts. The Steelers give up tons of passing yards, and Achane only needs to make one man miss in the open field to use his burst to get over this number.

The Steelers love to do all sorts of weird stuff down by the goal line, whether that be running with a tight end, or last week, having Aaron Rodgers run it in himself. Freiermuth only has four touchdowns this season, but this value is enticing.
The Dolphins are right in the middle of the league in points allowed per game (22.8), and Friermuth is second on the Steelers in receiving touchdowns and third in receiving yards (three yards out of second place). For these odds, I’d be willing to take the risk, expecting the Steelers to push the pace on offense in pursuit of a division title.
