Henry Cejudo (14-2) vs Marlon Moraes (22-5-1) – Bantamweight Division

UFC Flyweight champion Henry Cejudo is moving up a weight class with hopes of becoming just the fourth UFC fighter in history to hold two championships simultaneously. He will be competing against the division’s number-one contender Marlon Moraes for the bantamweight title that was vacated earlier in the year by former champ T.J. Dillashaw. Dillashaw was suspended by USADA for failing a drug test following his flyweight fight against Cejudo back in January.

Cejudo, 32, last fought on January 19, 2019, against former bantamweight champ T.J. Dillashaw. Dillashaw had moved down in weight hoping to become a double-champion but Cejudo had other plans. Cejudo defeated Dillashaw by TKO in the first round of their bout – successfully defending his title for the first time since winning it from pound-for-pound great Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson on August 4, 2018.

Cejudo stands at 5 feet, 4 inches tall and has a reach of 64 inches. He fights out of Phoenix, Arizona with the Fight Ready team. He has a freestyle wrestling style and has won gold medals in both the Olympics and Pan American games. The flyweight champion also has significant striking prowess as he also practices Shotokan karate. He has won four fights in a row – two by decision and two by TKO.

Marlon Moraes, 31, has been at the top of the bantamweight food chain for a while now. He last fought in his home country of Brazil on February 2 where he headlined the fight card in a rematch with Raphael Assuncao. Moraes dominated Assuncao and defeated him via the first-round submission with a guillotine choke. Like Cejudo, Moraes is on a four-fight winning streak – one by unanimous decision and three by first-round finishes. He has earned three performance of the night bonuses in a row.

”Magic” stands at 5 feet, 6 inches tall. That gives him a two-inch height advantage over his opponent. Moraes will also have a three-inch advantage in the reach department. He fights out of New Jersey with Ricardo Almeida BJJ. Moraes has a black pra jiad in muay thai and a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

(C) Valentina Shevchenko (16-3) vs Jessica Eye (14-6-1) – Featherweight Division

Valentina Shevchenko returns to the octagon for her first title defense since winning the vacated women’s flyweight championship. She takes on number-one contender Jessica Eye, who will be fighting in her first UFC championship bout. Neither fighter has fought this year and both were last seen in action at the December 8, 2018, UFC 231 card in Toronto.

Shevchenko, 31, last fought and defeated former women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk by unanimous decision to claim the featherweight title that was stripped from former champion Nico Montano. It was her first fight back at flyweight since joining the UFC.

”Bullet” stands at 5 feet, 5 inches tall and has a reach of 67 inches. She fights out of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan where she trains in muay thai, taekwondo, boxing, and judo. Jessica Eye, 32, last fought on the same card as Shevchenko’s title victory. Eye faced Katlyn Chookagian and won the fight via split-decision. She has put together a three-fight winning streak (all by decision) after losing four in a row.

”Evil” Eye, stands at 5 feet, 6 inches tall and sacrifices one inch of reach to her opponent. She fights out of Las Vegas with Xtreme Couture and Strong Style Fight Team. Tony Ferguson (24-3) vs Donald Cerrone (36-11-1) – Lightweight Division

Being hailed as the ultimate fight for the fans, Tony Ferguson will return to the octagon after suffering from personal issues that kept him out of action. He will be facing Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone – a massive fan favourite who accepted this fight on short notice as he will be only a month removed from his last matchup by the time the bell rings.

Tony Ferguson, 35, has had ups-and-downs over the last year. After having to pull out of a lightweight title fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov due to a freak knee injury, Ferguson bounced back in record time to defeat Anthony Pettis by TKO on October 6, 2018. Personal troubles have since kept him out of action but he is now set to return and looks to extend his incredible 11-fight winning streak.

Donald Cerrone, 36, recently returned to the lightweight division after a stint and welterweight. He has won three fights in a row – most recently beating top lightweight contender Al Iaquinta by unanimous decision on May 4 – just one month ago. Prior to that, he defeated up-and-comer Jay Hernandez in emphatic fashion with a head kick in the second round on January 19.

”Cowboy” has a two-inch height advantage at 6 feet, 1 inch tall but has a 3.5 disadvantage when it comes to reach. He has been training at the BMF Ranch since 2018. Like Ferguson, Cerrone also has a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He also has a black belt in gaidojutsu. Before making the switch to MMA, Cerrone put together a 28-0 kickboxing record.
