The main event this weekend pits ranked pair Steve Garcia and David Onama against each other, in a battle that will put the rest of the division on watch.

Steve Garcia arrives in Vegas on a hot streak, having won each of his last six fights in the promotion, including by unanimous decision against Calvin Kattar back in July. It’s worth noting that he boasts a knockout rate of 78% in his fights to date, so we’re expecting him to try and knock out his opponent this weekend. 

However, in the “Silent Assassin” David Onama, Garcia faces a man on a hot streak of his own. The Ugandan has won his last four fights, with the last three coming by unanimous decision, meaning it will be interesting to see how he handles the challenge of his explosive opponent. He has been making waves in the Featherweight division and this is a good opportunity for him to continue his progress.

Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Ante Delija - Heavyweight Division

This Heavyweight clash sees two fighters ranked in the top 10 face off, as Waldo Cortes-Acosta fights Ante Delija in what will be a bout for the ages.

Cortes-Acosta has only lost twice in his career to date, but enters this event after a loss in August against Sergei Pavlovich. He had an impressive showing, but was ultimately decided the loser by the judges. Prior to that fight, he won five consecutive fights, so he’ll be determined to rebuild his momentum here.

Trying to stop him is the former PFL Heavyweight Champion, Ante Delija. The more experienced fighter of the two, the Croatian arrives here on the back of a vicious knockout victory over Marcin Tybura. This is just his second fight in the UFC, but if he picks up the win this weekend, this could prove to Dana White and the rest of the promotion that he is worthy of a title shot later down the line.

Up next is a fight of damaged limitations, as both Jeremiah Wells and Themba Gorimbo enter on the back of defeats.

Wells hasn’t been in the case since losing by split decision to Max Griffin back in February 2024, but that was his second loss on the spin. The 38-year-old is very much into the twilight of his career these days, so he will be determined to get back on track this weekend. 

Gorimbo entered his most recent fight against Vicente Luque on the back of four straight wins, though that run was ended by an anaconda choke last December. Despite the loss, Gorimbo is one hell of a tough fighter and he needs to beat Jeremiah Wells to put the rest of the Welterweight division on notice.

Isaac Dulgarian vs. Yadier del Valle - Featherweight Division

This fight pits two fairly fresh fighters in the promotion against one another, with Isaac Dulgarian duking it out with Yadier del Valle.

Dulgarian has had a great run so far in the world of MMA, only picking up one loss in seven fights to date. His last fight had him throw down with Brendon Marotte, where he was able to apply an arm triangle choke forcing his opponent to submit. This next fight will definitely be a challenge though, as he’s facing an opponent with a perfect record.

This will be del Valle’s second fight in the UFC, but if his previous fights are anything to prove, the Cuban most certainly has what it takes to survive within the promotion. His last fight saw him submit Connor Matthews, adding a ninth win to his already perfect record. If he wants to keep it 100%, he’s going to have to pull out all the stops to defeat Isaac Dulgarian.

Charles Radtke vs. Daniel Frunza - Welterweight Division

The first fight on the main card sees Charles Radtke stepping into the octagon to face Daniel Frunza.

It’s an important bout for Radtke, who has won 10 fights so far but arrives here having suffered defeat in three of his last four outings. The 35-year-old was stopped early in the second round by Mike Malott in May and he will be keen to rebuild some momentum here. 

Frunza also arrives here on the back of a setback, but was unlucky to have been halted by a doctor’s stoppage after the first round against Rhys McKee in April. Five of the Romanian’s nine victories so far have come by knockout, making him a real danger for Radtke. 

This one is fairly evenly matched, but we’re taking Frunza bouncing back to take the win. FanDuel has him at +132 at the time of writing.
