The Cubs have no shortage of power hitters, but Seiya Suzuki has been standing out over the last week. He has gone deep in three of his previous five games, including yesterday. We’ll share why we like him to hit another dinger tonight and two other home run props we love.

Suzuki ranks in the top ten of the league in home runs (14) this season, with three coming over the last five games. The 30-year-old has also seen his average continue to tick up, showing he is seeing the ball better as the season progresses.
The Cubs’ star will face Carson Palmquist (0-2, 11.88 ERA, 2.52 WHIP) on the mound tonight. The rookie will be making his third career start after being hammered in his first two. The lefty surrendered two home runs in his last outing (on the road), and we expect him to give up more tonight.
With Suzuki owning a .795 slugging percentage against lefties in 2025, we see him as the best bet to go deep against Palmquist and a terrible Rockies’ bullpen.

The Colorado shortstop is the team’s most dangerous bat at just 23 years old. He has been limited to 24 games this season due to injury, but has an impressive .302 average. His power hasn’t shown up much as of yet, but that will change tonight with Jameson Taillon (3-3, 4.13 ERA, 1.09 WHIP).
The Cubs veteran starter has been hit-or-miss in 2025 but has consistently struggled with home runs. He has allowed a whopping nine over four starts this month, the second-most in the league on the season.
In nine at-bats against Taillon, Tovar owns a .333 average.

Aaron Judge remains one of the safest home run bets in the league this season. He leads all of baseball with 18 home runs, three of which have come over the last week. He hasn’t been very good at Angel Stadium over his career, but will have a chance to change that with a struggling young pitcher on the mound.
LA will send Jack Kochanowicz (3-5, 5.03 ERA, 1.58 WHIP) out to the mound to start against New York. He has shown flashes of greatness, but remains a work in progress. He allowed the A’s to go deep twice over four innings in his last start.
Once the young Angels’ starter exacts the game, he’ll turn things over to a bullpen with the league's highest ERA (6.56).
