There are some excellent home run props on the board for today, but the three we like the most involve former MLB MVPs. We’ll share why we are locking those in, giving you everything you need to bet with confidence.

The former MVP isn’t the same player that he once was, but his power is still there. He’s been hot at the plate over his last eight games, resulting in five home runs. While he hasn’t taken Rays’ starter Zack Littell (4-5, 3.97 ERA, 1.08 WHIP) deep before, he is 6-for-10 against him.
Speaking of Littell, he’s improved after a brutal April, with a 2.84 ERA in May. However, he remains vulnerable to the long ball, surrendering four over his last three starts. He has allowed multiple home runs four times over his previous nine starts.
With Altuve’s power coming back and his impressive history against the Rays’ starter, we are happily locking this bet in today.

The Brewers’ former MVP has taken time to get going this season. Offseason back surgery took a long time to recover from, and left Yelich feeling uncomfortable at the plate over the first two months of the season.
We saw Yelich return to MVP form again last year, but the lingering back injury ended his season early. He has looked like that player once again over the last week, with his power getting a boost. He had a three-run home run against the Phillies last night, and we expect him to stay hot today.
The Brewers’ slugger will face a great starter in Jesus Luzardo, but his hot bat could give him the edge. If not, he’ll have another great chance to go deep once Luzardo turns things over to a shaky Phillies bullpen.

Rookie starter Will Warren (3-2, 4.09 ERA, 1.26 WHIP) hasn’t been giving up many home runs this season. He’s allowed just one in May while going 2-1 with a 2.70 ERA. Normally, that would have us looking elsewhere for home run prop bets, but not tonight.
As impressive as Warren has been, he’s never faced anyone like Shohei Ohtani. The three-time MVP leads the league with 20 home runs, with three coming over the last five games. While he hasn’t had many multi-hit performances over the last couple of weeks, all it takes is one mistake from Warren or the Yankee bullpen to cover this bet.
