Best MLB Home Run Props Today June 4

With home run props, sometimes there is no use trying to overthink things. On Wednesday, we’ve targeted players who are either among the MLB home run leaders or who are red-hot at the moment. It’s the latter case with Juan Soto, who we are hoping stays hot after hitting a home run in three of his last four games.

The odds for Wednesday’s home run bets are from Caesars Sportsbook, which is easy to navigate and offers competitive odds. Even if you don’t have a Caesars account yet, you can sign up for one using the promo code WSNDYW to claim their “Bet $1, Get Ten 100% Profit Boost Tokens” offer.

Home Run Picks for Wednesday, June 4

Cal Raleigh Anytime Home Run (+230) at Caesars Sportsbook

Raleigh didn’t hit a home run on Tuesday, but he’s been too hot lately to give up on after one bad game. He’s homered in four of his last seven games, including two multiple-home-run games during that stretch. Raleigh also has a favorable matchup on Wednesday against Baltimore’s Cade Povich, despite never facing Povich before.

Not only does Povich have a 5.29 ERA, but he’s also been hurt by the long ball frequently. He’s given up nine homers this season, conceding at least one in four of his last five starts. That makes Povich the ideal candidate to give up a home run against a hitter like Raleigh, who’s been a threat to go deep against everyone over the past week.

Juan Soto Anytime Home Run (+280) at Caesars Sportsbook

A week ago, Soto would have been someone to fade in prop bets. But he’s become one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the past week. Soto has a five-game hitting streak, with an extra-base hit in all five of those games. That includes three home runs in his last four games. He’s found his power stroke, which means it’s time to strike while the iron is hot.

Tony Gonsolin starting for the Dodgers also works in Soto’s favor. Despite not hitting a home run against him previously, Soto is 6 for 15 (.400) with three extra-base hits in his career against Gonsolin. It’s safe to say that Soto feels comfortable in the box against Gonsolin. He also has the confidence to keep doing damage every time he’s in the batter’s box.

Plus, Gonsolin has been a mess this season, giving up four home runs in his last start. He’s now given up eight homers in just 31 innings pitched, with seven of the eight home runs he’s allowed coming at home. At least one player on the Mets is bound to go deep on Wednesday, with Soto being an excellent candidate at the moment.

Taylor Ward Anytime Home Run (+290) at Caesars Sportsbook

Despite a .213 average, Ward’s 16 home runs are tied for the sixth most in the majors this year. He set a career-high last season with 25 home runs and is on pace to obliterate that mark in 2025. Even with just one home run in his last 10 games, Ward is on our radar Wednesday against Boston’s Lucas Giolito. Ward is 3 for 12 in his career against Giolito, although two of those three hits were home runs.

Giolito has also endured some ups and downs since returning from injury in late April. He’s made six starts, giving up multiple home runs in two of those starts. Giolito has also been dreadful at home, posting a 7.36 ERA in three starts at Fenway Park this year. A right-handed power hitter like Ward could easily pop one over the Green Monster with the way Giolito has performed at home.
