Best MLB Home Run Props Today June 25

Most of the country has been experiencing a heat wave. In some ways, that has made baseballs fly further, making home runs more likely. That’s why we’ve simplified our approach to home run props on Wednesday by targeting some of the hottest hitters who have homered in recent days.

The odds for Wednesday’s home run props are from FanDuel Sportsbook. Most bettors trust FanDuel as a place with competitive odds. But if you’re new to FanDuel, you can take advantage of a welcome offer that gives you $150 worth of bonus bets if you win your first wager.

Home Run Picks for Wednesday, June 25

Aaron Judge Anytime Home Run (+176) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Judge and the Yankees are facing a left-handed pitcher in a hitter-friendly ballpark on Wednesday. For him, that’s enough to take a chance on a home run prop. He’s gone 5 for 13 in his career against Brady Singer. Even without any extra-base hits, that makes this a favorable matchup for Judge. While Singer doesn’t give up a lot of homers, he’s been a little more vulnerable at home, even though his overall numbers are better there.

Plus, Judge has gotten on track lately after a team-wide slump. He has at least one hit in five of his last six games, with two home runs during that stretch. That’s enough to think that Judge is back to being a home-run threat every single day.

Shohei Ohtani Anytime Home Run (+182) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Of course, Ohtani is also a threat to hit a home run every day. In fact, he’s homered in back-to-back games, including Tuesday’s game at Coors Field. The Dodgers are back at Coors Field on Wednesday, giving Ohtani a chance to showcase his power in the thin Denver air.

Chase Dollander getting the start for the Rockies is another good reason to back Ohtani on Wednesday. The rookie owns a 6.19 ERA, including a 9.58 ERA in five starts at Coors Field. In those five starts, he’s allowed eight home runs over just 20.2 innings. That spells trouble for him against Ohtani, who is a good candidate to homer three days in a row.

Byron Buxton Anytime Home Run (+330) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Despite going 1 for 8 over the first two games of Minnesota’s series against the Mariners, Buxton is among the hottest hitters in baseball. He’s hit six home runs in his last eight games. That includes a two-homer game on Sunday, so Buxton is still a player to watch closely.

The matchup with Seattle’s George Kirby also plays into Buxton’s favor. Kirby didn’t make his season debut until late May, and it’s been a struggle. Across six starts, he has a 6.16 ERA. Kirby has also given up seven home runs in just 30.2 innings, which makes him vulnerable against a red-hot power hitter like Buxton.

Logan O’Hoppe Anytime Home Run (+330) at FanDuel Sportsbook

With 17 home runs, O’Hoppe is enjoying a breakout season. He finished last season with 20 homers, so he’s on pace to set a new career high. If not for Cal Raleigh, he would probably be getting a lot more attention. O’Hoppe has also been red-hot in recent days, going 4 for 12 with three home runs in his last three games.

For Wednesday’s matinee, the Red Sox will give Richard Fitts the start. Fitts gave up three home runs in just one inning of work against the Angels earlier this month. Even if O’Hoppe didn’t have one of those homers, the whole lineup will be confident about facing him. Given his recent power surge, O’Hoppe is a good candidate is a good option to take Fitts deep.
