The Milwaukee Brewers remain the hottest team in baseball, and 21-year-old Jackson Chourio is a big reason why. He has been dialed in at the plate in July, but his power hasn’t shown up much. Below, we’ll share why we expect that to change tonight, as well as two other home run prop bets tonight.

The Brewers' phenom has been one of the hottest hitters in the league in July. He owns a .347 average and .528 slugging percentage, showing how well the 21-year-old is seeing the ball right now. His bat speed is one of the highest in the league at 79 MPH, which is the driving force behind his power. Considering how dialed in he currently is at the plate, that speed is going to start resulting in more home runs.
The Marlins will have Cal Quantrill (3-8, 5.24 ERA, 1.37 WHIP) starting against the Brewers tonight. The 30-year-old is coming off a strong start against the Royals, but has been unreliable all season. He faced the Brewers earlier this month and was hit hard, with Chourio going 2-3 with a double.
While Chourio hasn’t gone deep since July 13, he remains on pace to easily surpass his home run total (21) from last season.

Injuries have marred Corey Seager’s career, but the star is healthy and once again playing like an MLB MVP candidate. In July, he is batting .368 with a .721 slugging percentage. He has gone deep five times this month, with two coming in his last two games.
We like Seager’s chances to stay hot and deliver another home run tonight with Oey Wentz (2-1, 5.71 ERA, 1.61 WHIP) starting on the mound. The lefty was acquired by the Braves earlier this month and has looked sharp, but nothing about his history suggests that will continue.
The Rangers as a team don’t hit lefties well, but Seager is an exception, leading the team with seven home runs against southpaws.

The Mariners' breakout slugger leads the league with 39 home runs, despite seeing his batting average dip over the last month. He has been especially locked in on the road, where he has hit 21 long balls with a .273 average. While Cal didn’t find much success at Angels Stadium last season, that will change tonight.
Raleigh will be facing Jose Soriano (7-7, 3.83 ERA, 1.43 WHP) on the mound to start tonight’s game. The 26-year-old is having a solid season for the Halos, but he is just 1-5 with a 5.65 ERA at home. That means he’ll be vulnerable tonight, and we expect Cal to capitalize.
Once Soriano exits the game, he’ll be turning things over to an Angels’ bullpen that has allowed the most home runs in the league.
