This weekend’s Windy City matchup between the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox may not be the most exciting, but we expect it to feature some fireworks. We’ll share the two platers from this game that we are betting will go deep today, along with one other home run prop bet we love.

Suzuki ranks in the top ten of the league with 26 home runs, and we see him adding to that total tonight.
The first reason we’re locking in the Cubs slugger is his play away from Wrigley Field. Suzuki is disappointed.774 OPS at home this season, but that jumps up to .918 when he’s on the road. It's clear he prefers hitting outside of the friendly confines of Wrigley, even if he’s only traveling to the other side of town.
The White Sox will have Aaron Civale (2-6, 4.76 ERA, 1.40 WHIP) on the mound to start this inter-city rivalry game. While he looked sharp in his last start, that came against an awful Pirates lineup. The 30-year-old allowed 11 earned runs (15 total) in the three starts before then, leading us to believe that Civale is in for a regression tonight.
Suzuki is 2-6 with one home run against Civale.

Betting on any member of the White Sox to go deep is a long shot, but we are doing just that today. Vargas’s 12 home runs aren’t overly impressive, but we have seen the 25-year-old flash some serious power. He has gone deep twice over his last five games, and owns a 1.080 OPS over the previous week.
The other reason we love Vargas to go deep tonight is Cubs starter Cade Horton (3-3, 4.04 ERA, 1.36 WHIP). The 23-year-old has stepped up to become a reliable starter for Chicago, but his game still has a long way to go. He faced the White Sox back in May, allowing three earned runs on seven hits over five innings. He surrendered two home runs in that game, which both came from the bat of Miguel Vargas.

The Kansas City first baseman has already hit 17 home runs after posting just 19 the season before. His .269 is respectable, as is his .327 OBP. That shows he sees the ball well, and makes him a sneaky pick for a home run prop bet.
While Vinnie Pasquantino has the power to hit a home run against any pitcher, we especially love the matchup he’ll have tonight. He’ll be facing Guardians starter Tanner Bibee (6-6, 4.27 ERA, 1.22 WHIP), who has regressed in his third MLB season. While he has the stuff to be great, the lack of consistency has made him vulnerable to opposing hitters.
Pasquantino has faced Bibee 11 times, posting seven hits and two home runs.
