In case you missed it, Brice Turang is the best baseball player on the planet. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but there are few hitters as hot as the Brewers' second baseman. Since the All-Star break, the 25-year-old has a 1.015 OPS, thanks mainly to hitting a team-leading 11 home runs. Those are incredible numbers, especially considering Turang is also a Platinum Glove winner.

Turang’s bat speed isn’t great, but he has a 71% hard hit percentage according to baseballsavant.com. He also has a .345 xwOBA, which shows he is taking a ton of quality swings, even when they result in outs. 

Turang and the Brew Crew will be facing Pirates starter Mitch Keller (6-13, 4.21 ERA, 1.28 WHIP). The veteran righty is coming off a brutal August that saw him go 2-3 with a 6.52 ERA over six starts. That includes a start against the Brewers, where he allowed six runs on eight hits over four innings. While he didn’t allow a home run, he also only lasted four innings.

Once Keller is out, Turang will still have a great chance to add a home run against one of the league’s worst bullpens.

Seiya Suzuki Anytime Home Run (+390) at Caesars Sportsbook

We are very aware of how poorly Seiya Suzuki has been hitting over the last month, but he has shown some signs of turning things around. The slugger has just one home run since August 1, but 27 on the season. His power slump can’t keep up forever, and this game has all the ingredients for a big night.

Another is Washington starter Brad Lord (4-8, 4.34 ERA, 1.32 WHIP). The 25-year-old reliever joined the rotation in August, but went 2-3 with a 7.06 ERA. Things got worse as the month went on, allowing 13 earned runs over his last two starts (7 ⅓ innings).
