Game 1 of the World Series saw the Dodgers grab an early lead, but the big bats of the Blue Jays ended up scoring 11 runs to earn the blowout win. We believe more fireworks will be coming in Toronto tonight, leading us to a pair of home run prop bets we love. We’ll share both bets below, as well as why we are locking them in.
Both of our wagers use odds provided by Caesars Sportsbook. If you’d like to give Caesars a try, use promo code WSN20X to claim a “Bet $1, Double Your Winnings” offer.

Betts saw his power numbers dip in 2025, hitting 20 during the season and none during his 45 at-bats this postseason. However, we believe there is a ton of value backing him at his current price tonight.
The biggest reason we love Betts tonight is his history against veteran Jays’ starter Kevin Gausman. The former MVP has a .314 average and three home runs over 51 at-bats over their storied careers. While they haven’t met in a few seasons, Betts’ success against the aging pitcher is over a span of years, showing he has a clear edge.
Speaking of Gausman, he has been at his most vulnerable at home this season. He has surrendered 14 of his 21 home runs at home, while allowing batters to post an average 40 points higher than on the road. His ERA is also higher, at 3.86 compared to 3.33 in away games.
Guerrero is one of the best overall hitters in baseball, but he has failed to recapture the power numbers he enjoyed in 2021, when he hit 48 home runs. That trend continued this season as he posted just 23 long balls, but it hasn’t carried over into the playoffs.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has smashed six home runs over 12 games, leading to 12 RBIs. Three of those have come at home, including last Sunday against Seattle. We haven’t seen the superstar swing the bat like this in a few years, making him a far more appealing candidate for a home run prop bet.
There has been far more to the first baseman’s game than his power surge. He also owns a .447 average and 1.411 OPS over 12 games during this postseason. Those are crazy numbers for any MLB player, and show that the young slugger is hungry for a World Series title.
Expect him to bring the energy at home tonight, going deep at least once.
