Home Run Picks for Friday, April 3

There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the three players we’re locked in on.

Kyle Isbel to Hit a Home Run (+850) at Caesars Sportsbook

Many MLB fans may not know the Royals’ outfielder, but he is currently swinging the bat as well as anyone in the league. He owns a .500 average with two home runs and four RBIs over 18 at-bats. While he isn’t known for his power, Isbel’s two home runs have come in his last three games. 

Isbel will be facing Brewers’ starter Chad Patrick tonight, which is another reason we like this longshot home run prop bet. The 27-year-old came out of nowhere to deliver an impressive season as a part of Milwaukee’s rotation.  However, most of his success was confined to American Family Field. 

When on the road, Patrick went 1-4 with a 4.30 ERA and .265 OBP. With this being his first road start of the 2026 season, there is plenty of reason to believe he will be in for a long night. 

While backing Isbel to go deep is almost always a bad bet, we believe the stage is set for him to hit for a big payout tonight.

Mookie Betts to Hit a Home Run (+350) at Caesars Sportsbook

Our first Dodger home run prop bet is centered on former MVP Mookie Betts. He’s had a brutal start to the season and has clearly lost his edge, but still shows flashes of the elite player he once was. With Miles Mikolas on the mound tonight, Betts will be set up to remind us once again just how good he can be.

We went against Mikolas a lot last season and had plenty of success. The 37-year-old finished last season 8-11 with a 4.84 ERA and 1.32 WHIP while surrendering a whopping 29 home runs. That long ball total was the ninth-highest in the league, and there is no reason to believe 2026 will be different for the aging veteran.

Betts has faced Mikolas just 12 times, but owns the advantage with a .417 average and two runs.

Freddie Freeman to Hit a Home Run (+320) at Caesars Sportsbook

Mookie Betts isn’t the only former MVP on the Dodgers we’re backing to go deep tonight.

Freddie Freeman has also been regressing, but still posted a .295 average with 24 home runs. Unlike most players, the first baseman was far better when playing on the road last year. He posted a .303 average away from Dodger Stadium, along with 15 of his 24 home runs. Tonight will be his first road game of the season, and we expect him to start it off with a bang.

Freeman has faced Mikolas 21 times over his career, posting a .429 average with three home runs and seven RBIs.

There is a good chance Mikolas exits this game early, but that won’t change our bets on the Dodgers tonight. The Nationals’ bullpen posted the highest ERA in the league last season (5.59) and has not looked much better early on in 2026.
