Run Line | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Cardinals | +1.5 (-165) | +130 | Over 7.5 (-115) |
Phillies | -1.5 (+140) | -155 | Under 7.5 (-105) |
Don’t look now, but the St. Louis Cardinals are the hottest team in baseball. The Red Birds brought an eight-game win streak into their series with the Phillies. As impressive as they have looked, that run was boosted by facing the Pirates and Nationals in back-to-back series. Now they’ll be facing a far more formidable challenge in the Phillies.
We are giving Philadelphia the edge tonight, primarily because of Jesus Luzardo (3-0, 2.11 ERA, 1.21 WHIP). The lefty has been fantastic for the Phillies in 2025, though he has been throwing too many pitches in his last two starts. While that would typically make him vulnerable, we expect to see those issues erased tonight against a Cardinals team he has dominated in the past (.182 OBA).
St. Louis will be sending Sonny Gray (4-1, 3.50 ERA, 1.08 WHIP), who has had a solid start to the season. While his numbers are good, they are partly due to holding the Pirates to one run over 12 innings this season.
Gray will be facing a great Phillies lineup that he hasn’t performed well against in the past. Look for him to get in trouble early, especially when facing Trea Turner, who owns a .391 average against Gray over 23 at-bats.

Pirates | +1.5 (-105) | +205 | Over 7.5 (-110) |
Mets | -1.5 (-115) | -250 | Under 7.5 (-110) |
The Pirates are not the team fans hoped they’d be in 2025, once again occupying the cellar of the NL Central. One reason for their struggles will be on the mound tonight in the form of Mitch Keller (1-4, 4.40 ERA, 1.40 WHIP). The 29-year-old has been regressing each of the last three seasons, which is continuing in 2025.
Don’t expect Keller to somehow bounce back to beat the Mets tonight. While he has done well against New York in the past, this is a very different team. They are playing with a ton of confidence, especially at the plate. The team owns a top-five OPS, which they will improve against Keller and the Pirates tonight.
The Mets will have one of the top pitchers in the league on the mound tonight. Kodai Senga (4-2, 1.16 ERA, 1.16 WHIP) has been dominant after missing last season with a high-grade calf strain, showing why New York was willing to pay so much to lure him over from the Nippon League in Japan.
With the Pirates' lineup performing even worse than the Rockies' this season, we expect Senga to deliver another gem en route to a lopsided win.

Diamondbacks | -1.5 (+158) | -115 | Over 7.5 (-110) |
Giants | +1.5 (-190) | -105 | Under 7.5 (-110) |
We did not think Robbie Ray (5-0, 2.84 ERA, 1.20 WHIP) could turn things around after injuries over the last two seasons decimated his career, but he is once again pitching like an ace. The former Cy Young winner has not allowed more than two runs in four straight starts, and we like his chances to keep that streak going tonight.
Arizona starter Brandon Pfaadt (6-2, 3.28 ERA, 1.22 WHIP) is off to another strong start as he continues to be a key part of the rotation. However, he has some bad history against this Giants’ lineup, which owns a 1.059 OPS over 28 at-bats. Combine that with Pfaadt’s 6.06 road ERA, and you can see why we like the Giants to win tonight.
Our player to watch in this one will be Heliot Ramos, who has caught fire for San Francisco. He owns a .500 average with two home runs and seven RBIs over the last week. His hot bat has been a massive boost to this average lineup, which will put up some impressive numbers against the D-backs.
