The Colorado Rockies have been the worst team in baseball. Texas has the capability to dominate Colorado at home on Wednesday.

The Texas Rangers offense has struggled at times this season. Texas has the 25th ranked team in terms of batting average.
They don’t matchup well against teams with high powered offenses because of their inability to hit with runners in scoring position. However, they have a great matchup on Wednesday against the Rockies because Colorado has been much worse at the plate.
The Rockies rank 28th in batting average and 24th in runs scored. The Rangers are much better in runs scored, as they’re tied for 14th in baseball.
They’ll lean on Patrick Corbin to tame the Rockies low powered offense. Corbin is 2-2 with a 3.13 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP, which isn’t great, but better than Antonio Senzatela.
Senzatela is 1-6 with a 5.77 ERA and a 1.92 WHIP. He has allowed 66 hits in 39 innings with only 19 strikeouts. The Rangers should have more offensive success than usual against Senzatela.

The Seattle Mariners have been excellent on the mound this season. Luis Castillo, who will start on Wednesday, has underperformed, but he still has a tremendous skillset.
Castillo is 3-3 with a 3.95 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. Walks have been an issue and strikeouts have been down, but New York’s lineup isn’t dominant outside of Aaron Judge.
Judge is batting .414 with 40 RBI and 14 home runs. The remainder of the team hasn’t been nearly as hot.
Will Warren will start for the Yankees, and he is 2-2 with a 4.75 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. He has allowed 33 hits in 36 innings but 41 strikeouts.
He gets a lot of swing and miss, but also makes mistakes. Seattle should capitalize and win the series finale.

Dylan Cease will pitch Jose Soriano. Neither pitcher has lived up to their usual standard, but I trust Cease to get back on track against the Angels.
The Padres are 13th in runs scored in MLB, whereas the Angels are 23rd in the league. San Diego’s offense has been better, and Cease has a much higher upside heading into the game.
Cease is 1-2 with 4.91 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP. His biggest issue has been walks, but the team is 3-2 in his past five starts.
He still has strong strikeout ability, and should shine in this category once again on Wednesday. If Cease can strikeout batters, San Diego should prevail.
