Hunter Brown is having an excellent season, and he has earned my trust. Brown will lead the Astros into Los Angeles to face the Angels.

Milwaukee takes on Minnesota on Friday, and I think this will be a low-scoring affair. This matchup features a young arm against a veteran, and I believe the offenses will struggle.
Jacob Misiorowski takes the mound for Milwaukee and is coming off an outstanding MLB debut last week. He went five innings, allowing no hits on five strikeouts against St. Louis.
Mr. Reliable Joe Ryan will take the bump for Minnesota, and he is 7-2 with a 2.93 ERA in 2025. In his last two starts, he has pitched 12 innings, allowing just four runs while striking out 13.
Both offenses rank in the bottom ten in team batting average, which is another reason why I am taking this NRFI. Milwaukee is hitting just .237 as a club this season, while Minnesota is hitting .241.
Misiorowski walked four batters in his first-ever MLB start last week, but still escaped the game without allowing a run. This shows how good his strikeout ability is, and that he isn’t afraid of the big moment when runners are in scoring position.
Ryan has been one of the best pitchers in the league this season. He has a WHIP of 0.90 and has fanned 89 batters in 80 innings. I think he will have no problem retiring the Brewers in the first inning on Friday.

Hunter Brown has been automatic on the hill this season and will start for the Astros on Friday. He will square off against Yusei Kikuchi and the Angels, making this a perfect NRFI combination.
Brown enters this game with an 8-3 record and a 1.88 ERA. He currently has the third-shortest odds to win the American League Cy Young award.
Brown has 105 strikeouts in 86 innings, which is a big piece of the puzzle when taking NRFI wagers. His confidence has increased throughout the year, and there's no doubt in my mind that he will have a clean first inning.
Kikuchi's 2025 ERA was 3.05, and his WHIP was 1.48. He isn’t the best NRFI pitcher, but he is a seasoned veteran who has pitched in big spots before.
Kikuchi is coming off a ten-strikeout performance in his last start against Baltimore. If he repeats this, the NRFI has a really good chance of cashing.
The Astros are swinging it well at the plate, with the second-best team batting average in MLB. They are hitting .259 as a club, so Kikuchi must be on in this matchup, but I still trust him to perform.

Guardians vs. Athletics - Tanner Bibee vs. Jeffrey Springs: Both pitchers are a combined 9-11, and I expect this contest to be very high scoring.
Royals vs. Padres - Michael Lorenzen vs. Nick Pivetta: Lorenzen is 4-9 with a 4.91 ERA so San Diego should deliver at the dish.
