The MLB regular season is coming to a close, but I’m still taking advantage of several NRFI bets on Friday. I have selected two for the slate on Hard Rock Sportsbook.

Fifteen games separate the Reds and Brewers in the NL Central, but I love the pitchers on both sides. Zack Littell will take the mound for Cincinnati against Quinn Priester of Milwaukee.
The Brewers are shaping up to be a great playoff team, boasting a strong lineup and pitching staff. They should dominate this game, but Littell will likely give them a run for their money.
Littell has been decent in 2025, and Priester has been dominant all year. Priester is 13-2 with a 3.25 ERA in 152.1 innings.
In Priester’s last three games, he has fanned 21 batters and has allowed two runs in each contest. There haven't been too many pitchers better than Priester, which is why I like the NRFI in this spot.
Littell enters this game with a 10-8 record and an ERA of 3.86. He isn’t the best strikeout pitcher in the league, but he does an excellent job of limiting walks and filling up the strike zone.
The Reds have struggled at the plate in 2025, and they have nothing to play for in this game. On the other side, the Brewers have the second-best team batting average in the league, so Littell will have to perform well.
Division games are usually low-scoring, and that’s what I expect in this matchup. I trust these arms to have a great first inning and cash this NRFI bet.

The second NRFI I’m taking is in the Twins vs Phillies game. Joe Ryan will get the ball for Minnesota against Aaron Nola and Philadelphia.
Ryan enters this game with a record of 13-9 and a 3.47 ERA. He’s a much better pitcher than the numbers show, and he needs a bounce-back start after allowing four runs in his last start.
In 166 innings, Ryan has fanned 185 batters, which is why I like him so much in this spot. Strong strikeout ability is critical for NRFI success.
Nola has a 6.46 ERA in 2025, which is statistically one of his worst seasons in his career. He’s a pitcher with a ton of experience, and I think he will deliver in a big-time spot.
Nols averages over a strikeout per inning, and Minnesota has the 22nd-best offense in the league in terms of team batting average. If he limits walks in the first inning, then the Twins shouldn’t do a ton of damage at the plate.
I trust Nola to step up big and Ryan to finish the year strong to cash this NRFI wager.

Mets vs. Marlins - Brandon Sproat vs. Sandy Alcantara: Alcantara has been a major disappointment, having his worst statistical season with a 10-12 record. I expect the Mets to excel in this opportunity.
Diamondbacks vs. Padres - Zac Gallen vs. Yu Darvish: Both clubs have great offenses, and these pitchers have been highly inconsistent in 2025. I expect runs to come early and often.
