With the return of March Madness to television screens across America, don’t forget about these NBA player prop picks for Thursday.
A balanced team effort helped the Minnesota Timberwolves mount the largest overtime comeback in NBA history last night as they rallied from a 13-point deficit in the extra period to come out on top. Meanwhile, Jamal Murray topped everyone else in the league, scoring 53 points on 67.9 percent shooting in the Denver Nuggets’ high-scoring victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
There are only three games today, but one of those is a potential playoff preview and high-profile matchup between the New York Knicks and the Charlotte Hornets.
Here are my favorite NBA player prop picks and bets for Thursday, March 26.

Miller is exactly the type of player that the New York Knicks intended to stop when they were constructed. Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby gave New York the chance to have preferable matchups and switch defenders for both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who were the top dogs in the conference when trades were made to land the players in the Big Apple.
Miller and the Hornets only played the Knicks one time this season in their second game of the year, and he scored 18 points on 41.7 percent shooting. Those numbers aren’t that relevant, but his going under this line in three of his last five, and the Knicks ranking third in points allowed over their last 15 contests, certainly are.

An under on a Hornets player and an over on a Knicks member do not fairly represent how close these teams are to one another in terms of overall ability. However, Anunoby went over this line in five of his last eight games and shot 53.8 percent from the field and 43.4 percent from three in March, meaning that he is entering the matchup in a great shooting rhythm.
The Hornets allowed fewer average points than any team in basketball over the last few weeks, and I expect them to present challenges to Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. With that being said, Anunoby is known to step up when his teammates struggle or are at the center of the defense’s attention, and his recent scoring efficiency leads me to believe that he will get over this number.

Jenkins became the talk of the town recently, averaging 23.7 points, 8.7 assists, and 4.7 rebounds over his last three games amid Cade Cunningham’s absence. Despite that, he went under his three-point line in two of those three games, and he also went under in seven of 11 games in which he played at least 28 minutes.
The New Orleans Pelicans are not known for their defense, but they ranked 11th in made threes allowed per game and second in three-point percentage allowed over their last 15 outings. He’s proven to be erratic from range, and the positive odds on this line are enticing.

It hasn’t been the season that Bane or anyone on the Orlando Magic would’ve hoped for. While he still averaged a strong 20.3 points per game with 49/39/92 shooting splits, his arrival didn’t get the team over the hump like it was hoped to.
While Bane went under this line in his only previous matchup with the Sacramento Kings, and also went under in five of his last six outings, he still won’t get many better opportunities to score the basketball than he will against this defense. Sacramento has one of the worst defensive ratings in the sport and gave up 134, 122, 139, and 132 points in its last four outings.

The 26-year-old snatched 5 boards in his last game and went over this number in 11 of his last 14 outings, despite only averaging 6.5 rebounds per game for the year. He also had 10 rebounds when the Kings met the Magic on Feb. 19.
While the Magic are solid on the glass, Achiuwa is getting to play more than 32 minutes per night in March, and he is producing. The Magic also aren’t a very efficient team on offense, and missed shots lead to increased rebounding opportunities.
