Drake Maye has completed fewer than 20 passes in five consecutive games
The Seahawks had 18 interceptions during the regular season, good for the fifth-most in the NFL
Maye has rushed for over 60 yards in two of New England’s three playoff games
The result of Super Bowl LX could easily come down to the performance of New England quarterback Drake Maye. In just his second pro season, Maye has guided the Patriots back to the Super Bowl. Despite some rocky moments in the playoffs, he did enough to win three games, doing so against some of the top defenses in the NFL. Of course, Maye will have to face another tough defense in the Super Bowl, which is why New England’s hopes could hinge on how he plays.
In addition to leading the Patriots to the Super Bowl, Maye put himself in the middle of the NFL's MVP race. He’s also a big reason why Mike Vrabel is among the favorites to win Coach of the Year. As far as the Super Bowl is concerned, Maye and the Patriots are slight underdogs against the Seahawks. However, that isn’t stopping Maye from being one of the top contenders to win Super Bowl MVP honors.
Aside from potentially betting on him to be the Super Bowl MVP, there are plenty of other Super Bowl prop bets involving Maye. Ahead of the big game, we picked out three of our favorite Maye props on FanDuel.

Maye has fallen short of this mark in five straight games, including all three of New England’s playoff wins. But those were mostly games in which the Patriots didn’t need Maye to make a lot of throws. In games that the Patriots lost or needed to come from behind late, Maye ended up making more pass attempts and completing more passes.
The Super Bowl looks like it could be that type of game, as the Pats are underdogs. The Seahawks also faced the fifth-most pass attempts in the NFL during the regular season. They stop the run and force teams to throw the ball. Those are all ingredients for Maye attempting and completing more passes than he has in recent games.

Maye escaped snowy Denver last week without throwing a pick. However, he had one in each of New England’s first two playoff games. He also had one in all three of New England’s losses this season. In fact, Maye threw an interception in seven of New England’s 10 games that were decided by one score. Since the Patriots are underdogs in this game, a loss or a close game is possible, making an interception more likely.
Meanwhile, don’t overlook the fact that the Seahawks amassed 18 interceptions during the regular season. That was good for the fifth-most in the NFL. The Seahawks added another pick against Brock Purdy in the Divisional Round. With 10 different Seahawks registering an interception this season, no part of the field is safe, leading to another interception by Maye.

Running has become a huge part of Maye’s game. In fact, the Patriots probably wouldn’t have won the AFC Championship Game without his legs. Maye had 65 rushing yards against the Broncos, after racking up 66 rushing yards in the Wild Card Round against the Chargers.
There is every reason to believe that Maye will keep using his legs in the Super Bowl. It’s worth noting that he ran for over 40 yards in two of New England’s three losses, so in a game the Pats aren’t expected to win, Maye might be forced to use his legs. The Seahawks didn’t face a lot of athletic quarterbacks this season, but the likes of Jayden Daniels, Cam Ward, and Brock Purdy all went over 36.5 rushing yards against them, which makes us think Maye can do the same.
