Weekly Playback

Every week, Harrah’s Casino has a “Weekly Playback” promotion, where players can get back a percentage of their cash losses on slots. I wasn’t a big fan of this promotion, as I think it is only suited for high rollers.

The cashback percentage is based on how many Tier Credits (TC) you earn a week:

It’s frustrating that you have to hit a high threshold to walk away empty-handed.

Even if you do qualify, the cashback isn’t immediately withdrawable. There is a 25x wagering requirement for slots and 50% for other games on any bonus funds. Given its ratings on the App Store and Google Play Store, I had high expectations going in. While the mobile app delivers decent performance and reliability, it has the same clunky, outdated design that holds back the website, making the overall experience feel less polished compared to other casino apps.

Downloading and setting up the app was quick, taking me just a few minutes. The main difference between the website and the app is that the navigation bar sits at the bottom of the screen rather than the side, as it is optimized for the smaller screen. However, the app feels visually outdated. It’s not unusable, but it feels like a platform that hasn’t developed over the years.

From a technical standpoint, the casino mobile app performed reasonably well. Games load without delays, and I didn’t experience any crashing. Blackjack players have a decent selection, too, with titles like Super Stakes Blackjack, Blazing 7s Blackjack, Multihand Blackjack, and Zappit Blackjack. 

Those who prefer roulette have the classic titles like European, American, and French, as well as more unique variants like Space Invaders Roulette, Double Bonus Spin Roulette, Roulette Advanced, and Blazing 7s Roulette.

While I explored many of these titles, I found myself coming back to I Luv Suits. It is a far more fast-paced and simple poker variant, which was nice for a quick session without thinking too much. I didn’t walk away with any big wins, although I did notice how I kept going back for one more round, especially with Slingo. It has a way of pulling you in with those quick rounds.
