The main event of UFC 320 is the fight we’ve all been waiting for, which will see Alex Pereira try to reclaim the Light Heavyweight Championship from Magomed Ankalaev in a rematch for the ages.
Ankalaev has proven to the MMA world that he is a force to be reckoned with, only picking up one loss during his career, which came against Paul Craig in his very first fight in the UFC. He has quite literally been tearing the competition apart since then, defeating Pereira for the belt by unanimous decision last time out.
It seems likely that Ankalaev and his team will have been in the lab working out a way to stop this fight going this distance and have Pereira counting stars before the allotted team is up, something he has been able to do in 11 of his 23 fights.
Before facing off with Ankalaev in March, Pereira had a decent run as Light Heavyweight Champion, successfully defending the belt three times. The Brazilian kickboxer is a devastating knockout artist, claiming 83% of his victories this way, so we can imagine that’s what he’ll be looking for here.
With Glover Teixeira at his side, Pereira has had time to try and work out all the kinks that caused him defeat in March, but we are awaiting to see if he has what it takes to put the Dagestani down this time round.
We’ve got the champion going for two for two, and you can bet on Magomed Ankalaev today with -230 odds at FanDuel.

UFC 320 is really pulling out all the stops to put on the best PPV possible, as next up we get to see Merab Dvalishvili versus Cory Sandhagen for the Bantamweight Championship.
Dvalishvili was great in his last outing, defending his title for a second time against “Suga” Sean O’Malley. The third round saw Dvalishvili lock in a north south choke, forcing O’Malley to tap to avoid any further damage. Currently ranked the third best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, the Georgian won’t be looking to ease up anytime soon having racked up 13 wins on the trot. However, he does have “The Sandman” standing in his way in Vegas this weekend, and it will be interesting to see who is lifting the gold at the finish.
Corey Sandhagen has had a fantastic career in the UFC since debuting in 2018. The American arrives here on a high, bouncing back from defeat by stopping the dangerous Deiveson Figueiredo inside two rounds. That victory earned him the Performance of the Night accolade, but he should be under no illusions that this is a sterner test. Although Sandhagen most certainly has the skills to hang with the big boys, standing in his way of the belt is one of the best fighters the world has to offer.
The bookies are expecting Merab Dvalishvili to enter and leave as champion, and we think the same. Bet on Dvalishvili with -390 odds at FanDuel now.

Here we get to see former Light Heavyweight Champion Jiří Procházka take on fourth ranked division fighter Khalil Rountree Jr. in a fight that will have a devastating impact on the ranks going forward.
Since losing the belt to Alex Pereira back in 2023, Procházka has struggled to regain the momentum he once had, lasting less than two rounds to the same opponent in June 2024. He was on a 13 fight hot streak prior to that however and his last outing was positive, knocking out the highly ranked Jamahal Hill with a little ground and pound. Procházka will have to pull out all the stops against Rountree Jr. if he wants to recapture former glory and be considered for a title fight at future PPVs.
In Procházka’s way is Khalil “The Warhorse” Rountree Jr., someone who can pack some serious damage. Like his opponent, he also took on Hill last time out and despite going the distance, Rountree Jr. methodically dismantled his opponent throughout, winning by unanimous decision. Rountree Jr. will have to sharpen every tool in his locker for this one against Procházka, as victory could set up a potential title fight next.
We’re expecting Jiří Procházka to walk away victorious here and you can bet on him at -184 odds with FanDuel.

Josh Emmet is one of the more experienced fighters on the circuit and here he takes on a fighter 11 years his junior.
For a guy that is now in his forties, Josh Emmet is still something to be feared in the octagon. Best known as being a lethal striker, Emmet can certainly not be underestimated. He was unlucky in his last battle, losing by unanimous decision to Leon Murphy. Against Zalal, the 40 year old will be looking to prove that he is much more than just an aging fighter past his best.
In his way is “The Moroccan Devil” Youssef Zalal, who has been red hot as of late. Back in February he defeated Calvin Kattar, adding another green check mark to his impressive winning streak. The fight went the distance, but we know against Emmet he will be looking for a submission victory, considering he has won 53% of his fights in this manner. If successful Zalal can move up the ranks and get one step closer to challenging for the most coveted prize within the division.
Although clearly the underdog in the fight, we’ve got the veteran Josh Emmet taking this one. Bet on Emmet with +310 odds at FanDuel.

The last fight on the main card pits Abus Magomedov against Joe Pyfer in an intriguing Middleweight matchup.
Magomedov comes into the fight on the back of three consecutive victories, with his most recent success coming by unanimous decision over Michel Pereira back in April. A skilled mixed martial artist, he needs to try and unleash everything he has to take on Joe “Bodybagz” Pyfer.
Like his opponent, Pyfer enters UFC 320 on the back of two straight wins, and he will be hoping to build on that here. Pyfer can certainly pack a punch, and has finished 64% of his bouts in knockouts. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to do the same in his last fight against Kelvin Gatelum, but he controlled the fight and was unanimously declared the victor. It’s going to be a big night for Pyfer, and he needs to show up to prove he can stand with the rest of the division.
Abus Magomedov is who we’ve got taking the victory here, take a chance on him with +196 odds at FanDuel today.
