This fight will see former UFC Featherweight champion Max Holloway step into the octagon with former UFC Lightweight champion Dustin Poirier in what will be the third fight between the pair, following on from their bouts in 2012 and 2019. Poirier won both of those contests, though a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.
Both fighters are coming into the fight after losing in title bouts, so it will be interesting to see who can bounce back to glory at UFC 318. After losing to Ilia Topuria back in October 2024, Max Holloway is looking to lift his hand in victory against an opponent he knows well. He has won five of his last seven bouts and will be hoping it’s third time lucky here.
Dustin Poirier is returning from UFC 302, where the former lightweight champion Islam Makhachev made him tap out in the last round. He is three years Holloway’s senior, but Poirier ought to arrive here with plenty of confidence, having beaten his opponent by submission and unanimous decision respectively in the past.
Despite their last two encounters, we have Holloway taking this one with -125 at FanDuel.

At UFC 318, Paulo Costa faces off against Roman Kopylov in a Middleweight bout, which ought to have huge ramifications for the contenders' rankings. Both fighters are evenly matched coming in, as there is not much difference between their physical stats and records.
Costa arrives at the bout on the back of a defeat against Sean Strickland by split decision back in June 2024, and a loss against Robert Whittaker in February of the same year. The Brazilian will be hoping to leave UFC 318 with his hand held high, but he does have a formidable opponent standing in his way.
The Russian Kopylov enters the bout after two consecutive victories, with his last coming in January after a TKO in the last second of the third round against Chris Curtis back in January. Kopylov is a heavy hitter and will likely aim to end the fight in a knockout, as the majority of his fights have ended this way.
Roman Kopylov is the current favorite to win with -265 odds at FanDuel at the time of writing, and he gets the nod to take the win.

Kevin Holland and Daniel Rodriguez face off in this Welterweight bout, which will see two men with 10-year tenures in the UFC lock horns. It should be a good fight due to the differing styles of each fighter, with Holland being trained in kung fu and Rodriguez not really favoring a specific style.
Holland is coming into the fight after two consecutive victories, with his last fight ending in submission success after applying a brabo choke to Vicente Luque in the second round last month. He will be looking to follow this with a win against D-Rod, Daniel Rodriguez.
Similarly, Rodriguez enters the face-off after two victories, with his most recent coming against Santiago Ponzinibbio in May of this year, after he knocked the Argentine down. Rodriguez has a strong team behind him, as he trains in the legendary Randy Couture’s gym. Let’s see if Couture’s expertise can propel D-Rod to victory in this fight.
Although the underdog, we feel Rodriguez has it in him to win this fight, and you can bet on him with +285 odds at FanDuel today.

Although only five years separate Dan Ige and Patricio Pitbull in age, there is over a decade separating them in experience in the world of professional martial arts. Pitbull began his professional career in 2004, whereas Ige’s first professional fight took place in 2014. Despite the difference in experience, we are expecting this to be a close fight.
Ige comes into the fight on the back of a knockout victory against Sean Woodson, where he beat his opponent in the third round. The fighter, who specializes in jiu-jitsu, will be looking to add another win to his resume with this fight against the Brazilian, Pitbull.
For former Bellator Lightweight and Featherweight champion Pitbull, this will be his second fight within the Ultimate Fighting Championship. His last fight came back in April, where he lost by unanimous decision to Yair Rodriguez. He will most likely attempt to end the fight via submission, his preferred method of victory.
We’ve got Ige taking this one, and you can find -186 odds at FanDuel at the time of writing.

This fight will see a seasoned veteran in the world of mixed martial arts take on a youngster who has already had an impressive career since his debut in 2016. Fans will be eager to see if youthfulness can trump experience in this fight.
Michael Johnson has had a lengthy career as a fighter that dates back to the late 2000s, and throughout that has been something of a journeyman. Saying this, he is coming from two back-to-back victories, with his last fight ending in a knockout against Ottman Azaitar.
Daniel Zelluber, who hails from Mexico City, has had a great start to his career so far. He has dominated the Hispanic fighting scene, winning his first 12 fights before succumbing to a loss against Trey Ogden in 2022. His last fight saw him pick up a loss against Esteban Ribovics back in September 2024, but the young Mexican star, nicknamed the “Golden Boy”, will be looking to add another victory to his impressive record.
Zellhuber is the clear favorite to win this bout with -520 odds at FanDuel.
