Derrick Lewis vs. Tallison Teixeira - Heavyweight Division

Derrick Lewis has been dominating the UFC since his debut in 2010, and he holds the record for the most wins by TKO in the heavyweight division, with a hugely impressive 15 victories by this method. Lewis is coming fresh off a win by knockout against Nascimento in May 2024. Now 40, and at the final stages of his career, he faces a younger opponent who also specialises in knockouts.

The undefeated Tallison Teixeira has been making waves in the heavyweight division. He has won all eight of his fights by knockout, largely due to his explosive fighting style. The Brazilian is coming from a victory back in February, where he knocked out his opponent Justin Tafa in just 35 seconds.

Teixeira has physical dominance over Lewis, as he is three inches taller and has a longer reach. Still, it will be interesting to see if the youngster can hold his own against a fighter who is considered a legend among fans of the sport.

Tallison Teixeria is the current favorite to win the bout with -310 with FanDuel.

Stephen Thompson vs. Gabriel Bonfim - Welterweight Division

This will be an interesting fight to watch, as both men share a similar build, with only an inch separating them in height. There is a significant 15-year age difference between the two, however.

Stephen Thompson is in the twilight of his career these days and is coming off a string of losses, being knocked out by Joaquin Buckley back in October 2024. He has been working hard with his camp and is hoping to bounce back with a fight against the much younger Brazilian.

Gabriel Bonfim has an impressive record so far in the UFC, with his only loss coming back in November 2023 against Nicolas Dalby. Other than that fight, the Brazilian has won all of his other fights with the majority ending in submission victories, as he favors taking his opponents to the mat.

Although Thompson is a formidable opponent, Bonfim is expected to pick up the victory, and his current odds with FanDuel are -430.

Calvin Kattar vs. Steve Garcia - Featherweight Division

This bout in the Featherweight division will see Kattar step into the cage with Garcia, with the latter looking the favourite based on recent form.

Kattar arrives here on the back of  four consecutive losses, with his last fight taking place in February 2025 against Zalal, which ended in a unanimous decision against Kattar. He will be looking to bounce back against an opponent with a similar fighting style, but who holds the physical dominance over him.

Garcia has had an impressive run in the UFC lately, winning his last five fights. His most recent fight was back in September 2024 against Kyle Nelson, where a series of elbows and punches helped him clinch victory.

Nate Landwehr vs. Morgan Charriere - Featherweight Division

Nate Landwehr’s bout against Morgan Charriere will be interesting, as both fighters have similar body types but very different styles. The American Landwehr likes to keep the fight off the floor and use his striking power, whereas the Frenchman Charriere is a mixed martial artist.

The former M-1 Global Featherweight Champion, Landwehr, is entering the fight fresh off a loss in December 2024, following a barrage of elbows from Choi-Doo-ho that caused the fight to end. 

Known as “The Last Pirate”, Morgan Charriere also suffered defeat last time out, being on the wrong end of the decision against Nathaniel Wood in March.  It will be interesting to see how he responds here, considering he won his next fight the last time he suffered defeat.

Sitting at -260 odds at FanDuel, many are expecting the much younger Charriere to leave this event with his hands held high.

Vitor Petrino vs. Austen Lane - Heavyweight Division

This is perhaps one of the most evenly matched fights of the event, as heavyweights Petrino and Lane square off against each other. The American Lane has the size advantage on Petrino, but the Brazilian has had plenty of success when squaring off against larger fighters in the past.

Petrino, a well-versed striker, will be aiming to add to his already impressive record with this fight. He has only lost two fights, those coming back-to-back, in 2024. The Brazilian has some heavy hands, which he will be looking to unleash on Lane this weekend.

Lane is coming to the event after a loss against Mario Pinto, where the fight ended in just 39 seconds. However, it’s worth noting that all but one of his 13 victories have come by stoppage, something he will be looking to improve on here.
