Miguel Vargas has failed to break through with a few MLB teams but has found a home with the White Sox. The third baseman has given this terrible lineup a massive boost, thanks partly to his ability to hit for power. We’ll share why we like his chances to go deep tonight and two other home run props we love.

The Astros' third baseman has found his power stroke over the last week, posting three home runs. While he had a disappointing 2024 campaign, the 26-year-old did hit 31 long balls in 2023. We are seeing that same version of Paredes in May, giving us the confidence to make this bet.
On top of being hot at the plate, Paredes will have extra motivation to flex in today’s game. That’s because he’ll be facing a Rays team that decided to trade him last season, leading to an ugly finish to the year with the Cubs. Paredes will want to show the team they made a mistake tonight, and will have an excellent opportunity to do so with Taj Bradley (3-3, 4.80 ERA, 1.34 WHIP) on the mound for Tampa.

You may not know Miguel Vargas’s name, but he is making a splash for Chicago in 2024. The third baseman has found his swing, breaking out to hit six home runs and 21 RBIs on the season. Four of those home runs have come over the last week as Vargas, leading us to lock him in for a home run prop today.
Vargas will face a rookie on the mound tonight in Logan Evans (2-1, 2.57 ERA, 1.52 WHIP). While his ERA has been impressive, his WHIP shows he is still adjusting to the big leagues. He is making mistakes he has gotten away with this season, but Vargas won’t let him off the hook tonight.

The former MVP has only gone deep twice in May, but he is seeing the ball well. He’s batting .313 this month, despite the lack of power. Playing tonight’s game in the hitter-friendly Coors Field will help him add some power to his hot bat, leading to at least one home run tonight.
Harper will be facing rookie pitcher Carson Palmquist on the mound. The 24-year-old made his first MLB start last week and allowed five runs over four innings. That start was on the road, meaning he’ll be making his first start at home tonight. Expect the young pitcher to struggle badly before turning things over to an awful bullpen. This will give Harper plenty of chances to go deep, leading us to jump on this bet.
