William Contreras has completely turned his season around since the All-Star break. The star catcher has caught fire since then, helping lead the Milwaukee Brewers to an incredible 14-game win streak. Below, we’ll share why we are betting on him to go deep tonight, as well as two other home run props we are locking in.

The Brewers catcher is having the worst offensive season of his career, but he has been back to his old self since the All-Star break. He is batting .303 with seven home runs and 24 RBIs since then, helping the Brewers to gain a massive lead in the NL Central.
Contreras has clearly regained his confidence, but there are other factors in play regarding his recent success. One of those is the improvement of the team’s lineup. Andrew Vaughn has been playing like an MLB MVP since joining the team, while Christian Yelich appears to have finally settled in since returning from back surgery. This is allowing Contreras to see far better pitches as opponents look to avoid the big bats behind him.
The Cubs will be sending one of the best pitchers in baseball out to the mound in Shota Imanaga (8-5, 3.06 ERA, 0.95 WHIP). The lefty is having another great season for Chicago, but he has not enjoyed facing Contreras in the past. That includes when he faced him on July 30 and allowed Contreras to do deep twice.

The Nationals' young slugger has been struggling in the second half of the season, but he still leads the team with 25 home runs and 80 RBIs.
We like James Wood’s chances to turn things around tonight with a struggling Sean Manaea (1-1, 4.78 ERA, 1.16 WHIP) on the mound for the Mets. The 33-year-old fell apart in August, posting a 7.98 ERA across three starts (14 ⅔ innings). He has allowed four home runs over those three starts, including two over his last five innings. The veteran is struggling to miss bats, which will give Wood plenty of opportunity to snap out of his second-half slump.
