The Chicago Cubs probably won’t win the NL Central, but they own the second-best record in the NL. While slumps from Kyle Tucker and Pete Crow-Armstrong hit this offense hard, Ian Happ has helped make up for it. The veteran has a red-hot bat, which we believe will result in a home run tonight. We’ll share why below, along with two other home run prop bets we are locking in.

Nobody had Ian Happ leading the Cubs offense down the final stretch of the season, but that’s what has happened. The veteran outfielder is batting .321 with five home runs and 10 RBIs in September, helping the Cubs navigate slumps from Kyle Tucker and Pete Crow-Armstrong.
The reason we like Happ to go deep tonight is the Reds’ starter Zack Littell (9-8, 3.86 ERA, 1.11 WHIP). While his season numbers are strong, he has owned a 4.74 ERA since being acquired by the Reds at the trade deadline. While the 29-year-old can limit baserunners, he has allowed the second-most home runs of any pitcher this season.

While the Big Dumper has been making headlines in Seattle, Aaron Judge is finishing the season playing like the AL MVP favorite that he is. He’s batting .383 with five home runs in September, and he’ll have a great chance to add another one tonight.
Judge and the Yankees will be up against Orioles’ starter Tomoyuki Sugano (10-8, 4.39 ERA, 1.32 WHIP). While he ended a brutal slump in his last start, he’s still allowed seven home runs over his previous four starts (28 ⅓ innings). While he has been better at home this season, that’s also where he has allowed 17 of his 28 home runs.
Judge is 4-5 with a home run against Sugano this season.

We don’t usually look to the White Sox when placing home run prop bets, but we have reason to tonight.
Chicago will be facing five-time All-Star Yu Darvish (4-5, 5.63 ERA, 1.14 WHIP). The vast difference between his ERA and WHIP is due to his struggles to keep the ball in the park. He has allowed ten home runs over his last eight starts, and there is reason to believe he will do so again tonight.
Andrew Benintendi is tied for the team lead in home runs and second in RBIs. While he’s batting just .244 this month, it hasn’t stopped him from launching five home runs and driving in 13 RBIs. We like him over the rest of the Sox due to his hot bat, along with his .500 record against Darvish.
