After we had just three MLB games on Monday, Tuesday’s schedule has 15 games, giving us plenty of options for home run props. For one reason or another, we ended up targeting a few notable veterans who may not be huge home run threats at this point in their careers, but on Tuesday, the stars are aligned for them to go deep.

One regret we have about this season is not targeting Adell more. He’s had a breakout season that’s included 36 home runs. That includes six home runs in September, so there’s been no late-season swoon from Adell.
Tuesday’s matchup with Cole Ragans should favor Adell. He’s 3 for 9 with two doubles and a home run in his career against Ragans. That shouldn’t come as a surprise with Adell slugging .600 against lefties this year. Ragans hasn’t been able to get on track this season, so his struggles could continue against Adell.

After getting swept by the Mariners over the weekend, the Astros need a win on Tuesday. They’ll be looking to Altuve for help, as the 35-year-old already has 26 homers, which is among the highest totals of his career. Altuve went 4 for 7 with a double over the last two games against the Mariners, so his bat is heating up right now.
On Tuesday, Altuve has an ideal matchup against Jeffrey Springs of the A’s. Springs has allowed 28 home runs this season, 25 of which have been hit by right-handed hitters. While Altuve has just one career at-bat against Springs, he’s the best option in Houston’s lineup to go deep against Springs.

The days of Betts hitting 30-plus homers seem to be over. He’s hit just 20 homers this year after managing just 19 last year, amidst a broken hand in the middle of the year. However, Betts has come on strong late in the season, already hitting six home runs in September, making now a good time to target him for a home run prop.
Naturally, Betts and the Dodgers have a favorable pitching matchup on Tuesday against Arizona’s Brandon Pfaadt. Betts has crushed Pfaadt in the past, going 9 for 20 with a double and two home runs against him. With 24 home runs allowed this season, Pfaadt has been vulnerable to the long ball, making this an even better matchup for Betts.

The Guardians are so hot right now that it makes sense to target someone in their lineup for a home run prop, even against Detroit’s Tarik Skubal. Surprisingly, Skubal has been vulnerable to the long ball this year, giving up 18 home runs despite his 2.23 ERA. All but one of those homers have been hit by a right-handed batter, making the switch-hitting Ramirez a good option.
Ramirez has already mashed 30 home runs this season, and unsusprisingly, he’s been a key contributor during Cleveland’s recent hot streak. He has at least one hit in seven of his last eight games, with two doubles and two homers during that stretch. Ramirez also has an incredible track record against Skubal, going 11 for 34 with four extra-base hits against the Cy Young front-runner, making him a good option for a home run prop.
