Hernandez is having a fantastic postseason for the Dodgers. He leads the team with four home runs and ten RBIs while posting a .294 average. While three of those long balls came over the team’s first three playoff games, the fourth came against the Brewers on Tuesday night.
The right fielder has seen his average dip to .233 at Dodger Stadium this season, but he has hit 16 of his 25 home runs there. Given what we have been watching from Hernandez and the Dodgers during the postseason, it seems likely that trend will continue tonight.
The Brewers have not announced a starter as of yet, though reports suggest Jose Quintana will take the mound. We expect Milwaukee to empty the bullpen if this is close, meaning Hernandez will likely see several different pitchers throughout the night. One of them will make a mistake, and the slugger will make him pay for it.

As of today, the Blue Jays have slated Max Scherzer to start Game 4. The team is hoping the 41-year-old can recapture his postseason magic, but he has struggled in October since 2022. He has made four starts since then, going 0-2 with an 8.79 ERA and six home runs allowed over 14 1/3 innings.
Scherzer was also awful to close out the regular season, going 1-3 with a 9.00 ERA. He allowed eight home runs over that stretch. Now, he’ll be facing a ton of pressure, as well as a hostile Seattle crowd.
Raleigh has stepped his game up even higher in October. He’s batting .357 with two home runs and five RBIs. He’s seeing the ball like he was in the middle in the first half of the season, registering at least one hit in six of his seven postseason games.
There is a good chance the Jays could back away from starting Scherzer, but given the way the MLB MVP candidate is hitting, we are good trusting the catcher to go deep tonight.
