Friday is potentially the final day of the MLB season that will include multiple games. That means we doubled our options when it comes to making home run props. Of course, the Blue Jays-Mariners series has had far more offensive fireworks than the NLCS. That’s why Friday’s pivotal Game 5 is the focal point of our home run prop targets.

Despite going hitless in Game 4 on Thursday, Raleigh is hitting .313 with three home runs during the postseason. That means he’s probably not going to stay quiet for long. Raleigh homered in Game 1 and Game 3, so based on that pattern, he’s going to homer again in Game 5.
More importantly, Raleigh has great career numbers against Kevin Gausman, whom he homered against in Game 1. For his career, Raleigh is 8 for 17 against Gausman, with four of those hits being home runs. Assuming Gausman pitches long enough to face Raleigh at least three times, there is a strong chance Seattle’s catcher will take him deep again.

The sudden power surge from Andres Gimenez aside, Springer remains Toronto’s best home run option on any given day. He’s already hit three home runs during the playoffs and currently has a five-game hitting streak. In fact, seven of the nine hits Springer has had in the postseason have gone for extra bases, so he’s clearly in a groove.
Friday’s matchup with Seattle’s Bryce Miller is also favorable for Springer. Despite only being 2 for 9 in his career against Miller, both of Springer’s hits against him were home runs. Keep in mind that Springer opened Game 1 with a home run against Miller, so a little deja vu isn’t out of the question in Game 5.

Like most of Seattle’s lineup, Rodriguez was quiet in Game 4, going 0 for 3. But he was on a roll before that, going 4 for 10 with two home runs over the first three games of the series. With three home runs over nine postseason games, Rodriguez is a great player to target in Game 5.
While he hasn’t been as good against Gausman as Raleigh, Rodriguez still has solid numbers against Toronto’s starter. He’s 5 for 19 with a home run in his career against Gausman. On the season, Gausman has actually been a little more homer-prone against right-handed hitters, while 22 of Rodriguez’s 31 homers during the regular season came against right-handed pitchers, so this is a favorable matchup.

At some point, Hernandez is going to hit a home run. We’ve targeted him as a long-shot home run target a lot during the playoffs, with no luck so far. But the guy has an amazing postseason track record, and he’s hitting .344 with four extra-base hits during this year’s postseason.
Over the first three games of the NLCS, Hernandez is 4 for 10 with two doubles. Even if he’s not a power hitter, Hernandez is still working his way toward hitting one out of the park. It looks like Jose Quintana will be the guy for Milwaukee in Game 4, and with Hernandez being 5 for 18 with a double and a homer in his career against Quintana, today could be the day Hernandez homers.
