Jack Flaherty fell into a stunning slump earlier this month but has begun to turn things around over his last two starts. He’ll be looking to keep that momentum going as he faces a very good Giants team tonight. We’ll share our favorite bet for that game below, as well as two others we are locking in.

Run Line | Spread | Moneyline | Total |

Giants | -1.5 (+143) | -120 | Over 7 (-115) |
Tigers | +1.5 (-170) | +100 | Under 7 (-105) |
Giants’ ace Logan Webb (5-4, 2.67 ERA, 1.20 WHIP) is coming off a rough start, but remains one of the best pitchers in 2025. He went 7+ innings with three quality starts in his three other games this month, and we expect him to return to that form tonight.
The Tigers have not hit the Giants’ righty well in the past. They’ve combined for just three hits and one walk over 20 at-bats. While the lineup has been solid in 2025, they have cooled off over the last week, posting a lowly .202 average. That won’t change as they face Webb and a great Giants’ bullpen (2.56 ERA) tonight.
Jack Flaherty (2-6, 4.39 ERA, 1.18 WHIP) seems to be shaking out of his slump. He has been far better about limiting baserunners over his last two starts, which has also helped deflate his growing ERA. We expect the 29-year-old to stay hot and deliver one of his best starts of the season against a Giants team batting .195 over the last seven days.
Once Flaherty exits, he’ll turn things over to a good Tigers bullpen led by a pair of reliable closers in Will Vest (6 SV, 1.44 ERA) and Tommy Kahnle (6 SV, 1.66 ERA).

Athletics | +1.5 (-120) | +175 | Over 7.5 (-115) |
Astros | -1.5 (+100) | -210 | Under 7.5 (-105) |
The A’s season has completely come apart in May, with a record of 7-16 on the month. They broke an eleven-game losing streak on Sunday, but don’t expect that momentum to carry into tonight’s game.
One reason we are taking the Astros run line tonight is A’s starter JP Sears (4-4, 4.00 ERA, 1.15 WHIP). After going 4-2 with a 2.80 ERA over his first eight starts, the 29-year-old has lost his stuff over the last two. He allowed ten combined runs on 14 hits and three walks over nine innings, losing both games.
Sears will see his struggles continue tonight against an Astros team that is seeing the ball well. They have an impressive .311 average and .833 OPS over the last week, even with Yordan Alvarez remaining on the IL. Look for their bats to stay hot against Sears and one of the worst bullpens in baseball.
The A’s lineup will also face a tough challenge as Hunter Brown (6-3, 2.04 ERA, 0.91 WHIP). The 26-year-old was hammered in his last start, but has looked like an ace this season. The righty’s best work has come at home, where he is 2-1 with a 0.96 ERA and .131 OBA.

Nationals | +1.5 (-160) | +130 | Over 8 (-110) |
Mariners | -1.5 (+135) | -155 | Under 8 (-110) |
Nationals’ starter Mitchell Parker (4-3, 4.39 ERA, 1.30 WHIP) was electric over his first five starts of the season, but has regressed badly over his last five, going 1-2 with an 8.61 ERA and 1.83 WHIP. The 25-year-old has also struggled badly on the road, going 0-2 with a 5.66 ERA.
Seattle’s offensive surge has ended, but the lineup is still far better now than at the start of the season. With Parker struggling to miss bats and closer Kyle Finnegan (15 SV, 2.41 ERA) out due to arm fatigue, look for the Mariners' bats to do enough damage to secure a win tonight.
The Mariners will also have a young starter on the mound in Logan Evans (2-1, 3.33 ERA, 1.44 WHIP). The 23-year-old rookie has shown some flashes of greatness over the first five starts of his MLB career. While consistency remains a concern, he has only allowed more than three earned runs once this season.
Evans will be able to get the Nats’ lineup off-kilter tonight before he hands things over to a bullpen with a strong 3.43 ERA on the season.
