Sam Darnold has been sacked 11 times over his last four games
Tetairoa McMillan’s five touchdowns over his previous five games
Seattle has scored three or fewer first-quarter points in five of their last six games
No one predicted this Week 17 matchup would be as important as it is. The Seattle Seahawks competing in the NFC West isn’t too surprising, but the Carolina Panthers leading the NFC South is. That means both teams need wins on Sunday to stay in their respective division races, leading to a ton of great prop bets available for bettors.
Below, we’ll share three of our favorite prop bets for this Sunday's matchup.

The Seahawks have been great, but their pass blocking has become a problem. They have allowed 11 sacks over their last four games, and the pass attack has suffered as a result. While Carolina’s pass rush is one of the worst in the league, they could find more openings to get to Sam Darnold.
Speaking of Darnold, he has committed some brutal turnovers this season. He had two interceptions last week, furthering the narrative that he struggles in big games. The Panthers don’t have the Rams' talent, but they do rank in the top ten of the NFL in interceptions (13) and opposing passer rating (88.4).
Carolina’s bad run defense will also have Seattle leaning on its backfield, limiting Darnold's attempts.
The Panthers are allowing 209.6 passing yards per game this season.

To beat Seattle, you must attack their mediocre pass defense. They rank towards the middle of the pack in yards allowed per game (209.1). While they have allowed a few passing touchdowns, they have also benefited from facing some poor quarterbacks.
Bryce Young isn’t exactly elite, but he and NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite Tetairoa McMillan have been connecting well. The 22-year-old has 954 and seven touchdowns on the season, with five of those scores coming over the last five weeks. While his target share has been unreliable, he did see ten targets for six catches, 73 yards, and a touchdown.
With Seattle’s run defense being one of the best in the NFL, the Panthers will need to pass when they get towards the red zone. That will give McMillan plenty of looks, making this bet a fantastic addition to our same-game parlay.

The Seahawks have an explosive offense, but they have been slow to start games in the second half of the season. They have scored three or fewer points in five of their previous six games. They are averaging 28 points per game during that span, showing their impressive numbers are primarily coming over the final three quarters.
The Panthers' offense doesn’t score often, regardless of the quarter, ranking in the bottom ten of the league with 19.1 points per game. They average 4.2 points in the first quarter this season, and we are betting that will be under, given the quality of their opponent.
